Christmas card set

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today I am again quickly stopping by to share another set of Christmas cards with you.

For these cards I have used the die cut trees left over from my previous cards and simply picked up a very bold colored background to go with a white tree and sentiment.

For the baubles I´ ve used liquid pearls and Nuvo Drops in somewhat matching colours.

And for outlining I used the Signo uni-ball white pen on every card.

Simple and easy cards and flat – so also easier to mail.

The stamped sentiments are done with Klartext stamps again.

I think I need some more Christmas sentiment stamps in German and maybe a few ones in Finnish too, I already have plenty in English in my stash.

I am still thinking of creating a few “not so simple” cards for this season too. Let´ s see what I can come up with. Until then, take care!

Snowflake cards

Hello and happy Saturday! Here is another set of Christmas card I did the other day. Here I again used Elizabeth Craft Designs dies to create the white banner piece into the middle.

Inside the snowflake I used either holographic or golden cardstock and added a brad from my older stash as a focal point. The ribbons are also from my older stash. Good to use up older product again.

The stamping is done with Klartext stamps and the papers are from Mintay Paper Sweetest Christmas collection and Vicki Boutin´ s Warm Wishes collection.

It is so easy to make a few cards using the same basic idea, but by changing the colours and paper styles the design results several different type of cards so easily.

I hope I could inspire you a little with these simple-to-do cards!
Take care,

Green, red and white Xmas card

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today I am stopping by to share another Christmas card with you. This time I again reused/recycled a present tag into the card and combined that with some Canvas Corp papers from my stash.

It´ s a very simple card with the bold background paper and the bold green burlap piece. I just needed to add the present tag Santa on top and a half pearl to his hat and finish the card off with a Klartext stamp sentiment.

This card just makes me happy and smile when I see it. I hope the recipients with think the same :). I am sticking to simple cards this year :). Have you ever recycled bits of Christmas present tags/packaging/cards?

Wishing you a nice week!
Take care,

Christmas card set, Vol. 2

Hello and happy Saturday! Today I´ m again sharing another stash busting project, combined with newer product. I´ ve used stickers from back in the day with Studio Tekturek and Dani Peuss Klartext stamps.

The paper is by Studio Tekturek and the stickers are my own very old stash. The stamp is by Klartext (available at Dani Peuss) and the cute fox wax seal was gifted to me by my lovely friend Lizzy :).

I love these snowmen so much, I guess that is why I have been saving them so long. They just look so cute and immediately make one smile :).

For the next card I used the same sticker series, combined it with a Elizabeth Craft Designs die cut background piece and added all on top of the cute Studio Tekturek paper. The stamping on the background is done with Distress Oxides in pink and light blue and the stamp is by Klartext again.

Just a fun way to add some interest to the background. I also sneaked some Nuvo Drops into both cards. I like a little sparkle around Christmas time. I think it´ s because of the dark, long days that I find sparkle so attractive. When light hits the sparkly parts, it´ s for me like fake sunrays and that somehow lifts my spirits. In the summertime I don´ t need so much sparkle.

Hope your day is great! We had SNOW the other day, quite much too, actually, for this region. And I really enjoyed seeing snow. I love how quiet it gets outside when it´ s snowing and also how much more light there seems to be around, only because of the snow. I wished it would stay until Christmas, but it rarely does.

Viel Spass beim Basteln!!
