Hello there again! Here comes the third card I created using the Susan K. Weckesser stamps with The Crafter´s Workshop stencils for their blog hop week last week.
For this card I also used the Grandma´s Needlepoint stamp set by Susan K. Weckesser. Here is a little step-by-step tutorial:
I first wiped some broken china Distress Ink onto the card base.
After that I placed the „Coffee Splotch“ stencil over the card and applied a darker tone (faded jeans) of Distress Ink thru it onto the card.
I then stamped patterns with purple and grey ink onto the background and used a black ink to stamp the sentiment. All images are from the „Grandma´s Needlepoint“ stamp set by Susan K. Weckesser.
After that I went and inked a chipboard frame with blue and grey ink, applied a piece of cardstock (wiped with blue Distress Ink) underneath the frame and before adhering the frame on it´s place, stamped the cute birdie couple with black ink into the middle.
In the end I also added an enamel heart (outlined with a black pen) into the middle for more interest.
This is how the finished card looks like. I hope you have enjoyed this little tutorial and get inspired to play with stamps and stencil!
