Happy Friday, everyone!! I am so looking forward to this weekend – we are finally supposed to get nice, sunny, warm weather and I really hope that the weather forecast is right this time…
But before I´m off enjoying the weekend, I´ll share a layout with you that I created for Wycinanka scrap & decou. I used plenty of their lovely chipboard on this page as well as one of my favorite stamp sets.
By the way, there is quite a lot of layout inspiration going on at the Wycinanka blog right now, so you might want to take a look at what my design team colleagues have been up to :)…
This page is about my boys checking the presents they got from the stewardes in the airplane. When they were little we used to fly to Finland over Christmas every second year and this picture was taken while on the way to grandma´s..and the boys were always excited to board the machine because of the little goodies 😉
Did you notice that I have colored the chipboard words in two shades of the same color tone? I wanted to create a little more depth and came up with this two-toned idea. Really like how the two-toned words look like against the white background.
..and it is so easy to do. Just take a darker and lighter tone of blue and first colour with the lighter tone, then just add a „stripe“ of the darker tone on the lower part of the word. Done! Sooo fast and easy.
So what are you going to do this weekend? Got some scrappy time planned? I hope I can squeeze some creative time in and other than that I am hoping to spend some time outside :). Have a wonderful weekend!
