Hello everyone and happy Monday! Today I´m sharing a set of artist trading coins again. I love creating them very much at the moment. This set started off from a piece of white paper I had wiped residue Nuvo Embellishment Mousse thru a stencil onto.
I die cut the paper into circles with a Tonic Studios circle die cut die and dabbed the pieces into green, pink and blue Distress Ink to give the background a hint of color.
Next I took a box of leftover paper pieces and found a light blue polka dot one and adhered a bit of that one on one side of the coin. After that I stamped a birdie feet pattern on top of that paper with black stamp ink. The border between the polka dot paper and the stenciled paper got a strip of lace adhered on top to soften up the border area a little bit. For finishing touches I added some very, very old flowers and brads from my stash as well as fussy cut a sentiment from another leftover piece of patterned paper.
Finally, I added faux stitching around the coins with a black pen. I love the fact that I can use up and mix all kinds of bits and bobs when making AT-Coins!!! I was also able to get a fellow crafter addicted too – she is now also into AT-Cards and -Coins 🙂 ..
That´s all from me for today, do come back again this week for more fun project shares!!
