Let´s Ketchup card – Elizabeth Craft Designs

Hello everyone, it´s time for my September guest blog post tutorial  with Elizabeth Craft Designs today. I am creating a fun and easy-to-do masculine card using the Backyard Barbeque die cut set and plenty of Soft Finish Cardstock on this month´s card.

Here is how I created the card:

Step 1: Using the Backyard Barbeque die cut set and True Blue, Sunflower, Ladybug Red and Café au Lait Soft Finish Cardstock tones, die cut the grill, flame, tire and ketchup bottle images with your die cutting machine.

Step 2: Take a slightly smaller piece of white Soft Finish Cardstock and cut into size. Now adhere the Wood Effect paper onto the precut cardstock piece with Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.

Step 3: Adhere the previously die cut pieces onto the card base using a glue pen adhesive. Fussy cut the white label piece onto the ketchup bottle and adhere on place.

Step 4: Ink around the Wood Effect paper edges with black ink to create more contrast to the card.

Step 5: Using the Misti Stamping Tool stamp the “Let´s Ketchup” sentiment onto a piece of white Soft Finish Cardstock and cut into a banner following the natural form of the stamp image.

Step 6: Adhere the sentiment and the ketchup bottle on place and decorate with black Liquid Pearl dots to add interest and detail to the card. Let dry.

Step 7: Adhere the finished piece onto a white cardbase.

This is how the finished card looks like.

I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial – see you again next month.

Happy crafting,
