Unboxing Day – The Wild Hare Kits

Good morning lovelies and happy 2nd of April! Today it´s again unboxing day over at The Wild Hare Kits today. I´m happy to be able to share my April kit with you all today :-). I was a bit afraid my kit would not arrive in time, as the shipping information did not update itself for at least two weeks, but then, suddenly on Monday, the postman pushed the parcel under our garden door (no personal contact allowed, you see).

This is my gorgeous, colorful, cheerful and happy kit. I wished for one like this. And it´s again spot on. I wished for a colourful, happy and cheerful kit for April. Little did I know when I ordered it, that we´d be sitting at home and distancing ourselves from everything. Now that it arrived, I am more than happy that I ordered this type of a kit.

Here are the videos, let´s start with English:

Here is the one in Finnish:

And last, but not least, the one in German:

I hope you enjoy the videos!! I cannot wait to start creating with this kit!! And there is also one more kit I received a few days back, my “long lost” March kit. For those videos, just hop over to THIS POST and watch :). I´m planning on creating a minibook with that kit some time in April too, so stay tuned :).

And now to my lovely fellow WHK crafters, here are some direct links to the unboxing videos by them – enjoy!

March Kit unboxing – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello everyone, even though March is almost over, I´m still sharing my March The Wild Hare Kits unboxing videos with you, like I promised. After being on a world tour, my kit finally arrived on the 26th of March :). And even though I´m sharing on April 1st, this is NO April fools joke!!

I´m planning on creating a minibook using this kit some time in April. I have a Finland trip from 2018 still to scrap and I originally planned on doing that in March, but as the kit didn´t arrive, I´ve had to postpone these plans. Doesn´t matter – I´m still looking forward to creating with his kit, so stay tuned for more 🙂

If you haven´t tried out The Wild Hare Kits yet, here is the link you need to go to. Happy shopping!

Happy crafting! Hope you are all healthy and coping well with staying at home,

March project wrap-up – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello everyone and happy last day of March. How is your social distancing going? It´s now been two weeks and two days here in Austria and we are adjusting to the new situation. I noticed, that watching the news just grows anxiety and causes small panic attacts, so I keep myself from watching the daily reporting at the moment.

But now something more relaxing and fun – my March The Wild Hare Kits project wrap-up video. Hope you like it:

This month my March kit did not arrive in time, as it accidentally ended up going to Australia (Austria <-> Australia) and it took almost a month for it to finally arrive to me (which was on 26th of March). So I could not create with a “new” kit. But instead came up with plan “B” and pulled all the previous leftover kits together and scrapped my March projects with those.

And it was so MUCH FUN! The kits are big and there was still so much product left, so I could have created even more, but as I had a cruciate replacement surgery on my right knee Mid March, I only managed to create 3 layouts. Better than nothing, huh?

I´m really happy with all 3 layouts and challenging oneself with the leftover kits so also very much fun. If you haven´t tried it yet, I strongly recommend you do! You´ll be surprised how well all the leftovers work together and how much you can still create!!

Wishing you all a lovely day, even though we are all social distancing. But we crafters are familiar with this, right? So we can do this!!

Stay home and stay healthy!

Hello brother – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello everyone, today I have something special to share with you! KittyK8 and myself put up a little collaboration of our own for March as it turned out that her kit didn´t arrive to her, but instead is somewhere in Hungary at the moment (funny enough, next to Austria) and my kit went to Sydney (Australia, where Kate lives)!

So she contacted me to inform me about that and we figured, since both of us are still waiting for their March The Wild Hare Kits to arrive, we´d challenge each other with something else. So we pulled all our previous kits together and tried to put a DIY kit from our leftover WHK kits together that would be as similar as possible.

Here is mine:

I´ve got plenty of Pink Paislee Truly Grateful in this kit. Then some Pinkfresh Studio Office Hours, some Shimelle Sparkle City as well as Field Trip collection and Pink Paislee Again & Again papers as well as tiny bits of Flower Market by Carta Bella as well as Pinkfresh Studio Just a Little Lovely. The embellishments are by Brambe Fox, Pink Paislee, Pinkfresh Studio, Spiegelmom Scraps and Maggie Holmes. Also I used the monthly February cutfile for this kit.

And here is what I created:

I used the Pinkfresh Studio Office Hours „Inspiration“ paper as my layout base and added some Pink Paislee Truly Grateful and Shimelle´s Field Trip collection papers to the background. Then I went crazy with fussy cutting. I used plenty of the Pink Paislee Truly Grateful collection 2×2 inch papers and fussy cut words and images. I also added the monthly cutfile as well as some Bramble Fox acrylic embellishments to the layout. I had also picked the Pink Paislee Again & Again collection flower paper to my kit, but in the end decided not to use it at all. As I am scrapping a boy page, I intentionally used words and other images than flowers.

Creating my own kit from leftover kits was so much fun! You should definitely try out making one yourself. And then scrapping with it. I still have so much left from this kit – I could go on and make a few more projects with it.

And now I´m really excited to see what Kate created with her kit!!! She has more flowers going on in hers. I had the Pink Paislee Again & Again paper prepared for fussy cutting flowers, but in the end intentionally decided against it. I did a boy layout, so using flowers was not the first thing that came to my mind, so I stuck to words and other images than flowers. I´m excited to see, how much Kate was able to use on her page and how it turned out!

I hope we could inspire you to use up all the leftovers from your previous kits. It´s really lots of fun to create mini kits from leftover product and then challenge yourself to scrap with those. We´d love to see what you made, so be sure to tag us (@thewildharekits) while sharing on social media!!!

See you again tomorrow with my monthly wrap-up and then in April with the unboxing again!

Happy scrapping,

Fall 7 times – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello lovelies and happy Wednesday!! Today I´m sharing my first March The Wild Hare Kits project with you guys over at The Wild Hare Kits blog. There were some unexpected problems regarding my March kit, as it decided to take a world tour before arriving to me  (currently in Sydney, Australia and not here yet). So I had to make a plan „B“ on what to create with for this month. I took all my previous The Wild Hare Kits and pulled product together from those.

Here is the result of the DIY kit building:

You can see on the video what products I chose to use for this layout – all from my leftover kits! Since the kits always have so much in them, it is really easy to put together small layout kits with the residue pieces! I love my DIY March layout kit so much! And besides, I get to use up all my residue pieces this way.

For today´s layout I used the mothly sketch very loosely.

I´ve also recorded a start-to-finish video for you to watch. Hope you like it!! I´ve got Crate Paper Flower Market, Dear Lizzy She´s Magic, Pinkfresh Studio Office Hours, Bramble Fox embellishments and Jen Hadfield This is family featured on my layout.

I hope I could inspire you to take a second look on those leftover kits of yours and get your scrap on with them. And when you share your WHK projects, remember to use #thewildharekits, so we can find you!! We´d love to see what you guys create with the kits!

Happy scrapping,
xxx, Sanna
