This color combination is one of my all time favorites! I have used it on quite a few projects in the past and always come back to it from time to time!
My last layout was very clean&simple (as I also like creating such pages from time to time) and this one is quite the opposite – full of layers and details. The papers are from one of my fave collections at the moment: Plus One by Amy Tangerine. Just cannot get enough of those :). I like them so much, that I even went and cut paper off behind the layers just to have more of them left for another project later :D. Crazy, I know…
I first added some acrylic paint thru a stencil (by The Crafter´s Workshop – mechanogrid) over the patterned paper and then used the same stencil with a black Distress Ink to add even more detail. Next I just added more layers by stamping and misting here and there. And yes, I of course had to use my favorite Glimmer Glaze prouduct on the page too.
Finally I just added badges, wood veneer and letter stickers here and there for additional detail and my layout was all done. I´ve again hidden the journaling behind the photo (written on a white tag) because it is quite personal.
…aaannnnddd….as there also happens to be a new moodboard up over at the Scrap Around the World Blog (June 2014 challenge 14) and it is in my favorite colour combination, I just have to submit this layout for that moodboard challenge :D. I obviously got inspired by the colours, but also by the grey fence and the straws (stripes).
