Hello lovelies! Here are a couple of cards I created with self carved stamps. There is also a class about carving your own stamps – more information about that over here at Pipilonias kreative Welt).
For this card above I used the smile sentiment stamp and created the flowers from pieces of leftover paper towel. These are from various spray ink projects. I sometimes save and reuse these pieces, like here :).
For this card I simply stamped the same sentiment several times (second and third generation stamping) to create a kind of shadow effect on the card. The black splatters are naturally made with my favorite product – Glimmer Glaze “oil slick” :).
I created this Moomin card for my goddaughter for her birthday. I stamped the image with Archival Ink (jet black) and then doodled/drew all the other images by hand and after that colored them.
This one is just a funny birthday card. The written sentiment reminds of a visit at the ophthalmologist ;-). This card can only be given to a person who will understand this kind of humour :D.
And for the last card i just first created the background and then stamped the sentiment. For decoration I used some wood veneer embellishments and a stencil by Tim Holtz. I have, by the way, created all the backgrounds with water-soluble colour wax pastels.
Have fun creating!!
Sanna
