Quirky Kit blog hop w/ Scrap365

Hello there, lovelies!!! Scrap365 have joined forces with the fabulous Quirky Kit girls to show you just how economical, exciting and inspirational subscribing to a kit can be!!

Quirky Kits have a choice of three kits – Main, Lite and Embellishment; all of which are delivered bi-monthly.

Leonora and her team have kindly given us the beautiful ‚It’s My Party‘ Main Kit to give away as a prize:

The DT have all been playing with one or more of the current Quirky Kits to show you just how versatile they are; and how they suit any style of scrapping!

So let’s get started. First off we were given a sketch to use as a jumping off point. I like to use sketches as a starting point here and now. I tend to use the sketch as it is, not just picking some details and get inspired by those. I really liked this one, because it has lots of white space on it and all the tiny photos are clustered together with the papers and embellishments.

Other than that I really liked the A4 size!! And it also perfectly fit my photos 🙂 !!! Here is what I made. You might notice I didn´t use a flower…why?..well, it is a boy page..

I have also created a little card based on the same sketch using some leftover pieces from the previous layout. And there is still so much product left over that I can easily create 1 or 2 layouts and/or several cards!!

Just in case you were wondering, I used the Shiny Happy People Quirky Kit Lite for my layout and card 🙂 .
Here’s a list of all the girls that are playing along today. Please make sure that you:

1) leave some love on every hoppee’s blog

  1. Such clean and simple take on the sketch. Absolutely perfect for the child of many faces. Love the card as well. Beautiful work 😀

  2. Wonderful page Sanna! love the cute photos and all the details on your page!

  3. I don’t usually comment but do follow. Somehow, saying great just doesn’t seem enough.
However, this is just that, ‚great‘. Love your blog and love your projects.-all of them.

  4. I really like what you’ve done here [great photos, too!!]…& that card is lovely:):) Gorgeous job, as always:):)

  5. great way to use the sketch with the 4 funny faces! Also the card is a wonderufl way to use up leftovers from the kit.

  6. Love both the layout and the card…lots of inspiration on this blog hop!
    Alison xx

  7. I love the card that you created! It’s so cool that there are so many ways to use the kits!

  8. I’m loving smaller sized pages at the moment, so I’m totally inspired by the fresh look you have given this A4 layout. I love it.

  9. Love the idea of using the sketch for a card as well as a page – which was great fun and funky too. I never copy the embellishments from a sketch … just take the placement as a pointer for a cluster or two.

  10. Oh Sanna I love your layout and your take on the sketch. Love the CAS style with a quirky twist. These papers and colours are just so playful. I adore this. The card is just as lovely … something I hardly ever do… I need to make more cards.

  11. Totally fantastic Sanna!! I adore the CAS style you have used here…right up my street 😉 Love the bold and graphic card…funnily enough I was drawn to the same one!! Thank you so much for playing along with us and sharing your amazing work xx

  12. Aaah! do I love or do I love this bloghop! always amazing to see how the same kit can be used in so incredibly many ways. Lots and lots of inspiration! thank you so much Sanna, your projects are just wonderful! … ahem! flowers CAN be used on boy pages! says the Prima flower junkie lady :))
