Hello and happy Saturday! Today I am again stopping by to share another Daily Art Journal Practice page with you. This is again done using the Artistic Almanac as the starting point.
For this page I used a piece of kitchen roll that has similar colours of ink on it already (yes, I save some of those if I like the colours!). On top of that I just added Stabilo black marks. Then I took a piece of fabric and colored it with crayons in red, orange and yellow. After spraying water the colours mixed nicely together.
After they were dry, I adhered them on place and added stamped Klartext sentiments on top. This page turned out really nice in my opinion. I like the texture and the colours here alot!
Hello and happy Friday! Today I am sharing another layout that I created using the Dani Peuss September Main Kit and various Klartext stamps. Here is what I ended up creating:
I added a total of 5 photos to the A4 sized page and used the Klartext “Collage | Fotografie” stamp set as well as the Klartext “Mia” stamp set to stamp with grey stamp ink onto the background to create a more personalized look to the page.
For stamping the images I used Nuvo Metro Grey stamp ink. Then I added the photos and the fussy cut leaves (a second paper from the Dani Peuss September Kit) around them.
The journaling is hidden behind the photos on the Simple Stories Let´ s Go collection tag that also comes with the kit. The black sticker and alpha details are all from the summer Dani Peuss Sticker surprise bag I purchased (see the video here). I used following sets here: Thickers Garden Party Alphas, Kaisercraft Sticker Book Native Breeze, Teresa Collins Favorites Sticker Set, Simple Stories Sticker book Safe Travels).
In addition to that I stamped the title with Versafine Nocturne tone using the Klartext stamp set “So viele Kerzen” and a date roller stamp from my own stash. And since I love using yellow, I grabbed the Dina Wakley Gloss Spray in tone Lemon and added the droplets onto the finished page.
I really love these colours so much and the woodgrain paper with the grey stamping and yellow bits really is near to my heart. Makes me happy!
And I am even happier, if I could inspire you with my layou a little bit! See you again tomorrow with another art journal page share and then after that I still might have another Dani Peuss Kit layout waiting to be shared. xxx, Sanna
Hello and happy Wednesday! Today I am sharing another Daily Art Practice page from my journal. This one, again, is done using the Artistic Almanac 2022 as a starting point.
For this page I used a picture from a magazine and added the almanac page´ s flowers as a flower bouguet to it. Additionally I also used a Klartext stamp to add the moon cycle image and then that again inspired me to write down the words: “Many moons ago!!”. On the background I used Distress Crayons this time.
I found that very suitable for this image. I had a good time making this one! See you again with more journal shares tomorrow.
Hello and happy Tuesday! Today I am sharing another Daily Art Practice page from my journal. This one, again, is done using the Artistic Almanac 2022 as a starting point.
For this page I simply used pearlescent watercolours on a partly gessoed page and then added marks with a white Signo uni-ball pen on top after the watercolour had dried.
I find the artistic almanac very inspiring, because thru every single page one is challenged to try out something one has possibly not tried to do before. Now, some may say I am just copying the particular day´ s page and not doing anything unique with it. TRUE also, BUT I am also testing out ideas and techniques other creatives have to see how if feels like and maybe thru this process will learn something new and also might develop my own personal way of creating. This is why I enjoy this almanac so much. It´ s about the personal creative developent and challenge for me.
