Maternity leave – card

Hello lovelies! Today I am stopping by to share a maternity leave card with you. I combined the Dani Peuss May paper-add-on-kit with some Elizabeth Craft Designs die cut dies from my stash and also incorporated an older Martha Stewart flower punch.

The papers, except the white cardstock which is from my stash, are all from the May paper add-on-kit by Dani Peuss. I love the blue paper, because it has various shades on the sheet and when die cutting you get various shades on one piece and the wreath looks more interesting, when put together.

For the leaves (die by Elizabeth Craft Designs here too) on the wreath I used a yellow paper from the May paper add-on-kit and the punched hydrangea pieces are the backside of the blue paper. The cool thing about the DP papers is that they are double sided: more versatility.

In the middle of the hydrangeas I´ ve placed a drop of vintage Nuvo Drops in blue. The light blue alphas are at least 15 years old and still work very well. I chose them, because the matched the colours of the card so well. All in all a very clean and simple card, but I love the color combination so much.

Hope I could inspire you abit today. See you again soon with more artworks!

Take care, xxx, Sanna
