Hello everybody and happy Tuesday! Today I´m again very excited to share my Studio Tekturek September project (and video) with you!! I really love how it turned out and totally adore the candy colours of the Strawberry Shake collection!!
This is the page I did! I had such a great time creating it. The colours might say summer, but I think they work so very well for many other themes and seasons too. Like everyday scrapbooking themes :)!
I´ve again recorded a video for you to watch. It shows the whole process from start to finish. I hope you enjoy watching it :).
Basically almost everything on this layout is from the Studio Tekturek Strawberry Shake collection, except for some embellishments and the Distress Inks, stamps, as well as the white paper.
Hello, and happy Sunday! Today I´m sharing yet another birthday card with you. I really like the slimline format recently and have been playing with that size abit. Here is my recent creation:
I had a pile of Nuvo Mousses in my drawer and some of them had completely dried out. My fail! I should have used them up and not have hoarded them… BUT I was able to “re-activate” some of them at least and now I´m stenciling a storm with them.
People, I cannot stress enough, use the media you buy right away. Don´t save them for a later time!!! It will not do good to them. Just enjoy them when they are at their best. And first buy a new one, when you have used hte previous ones all up! Lessons learned the hard way…
So you will be seeing lots of mousses on cards, mixed media projects, art journal pages and other projects in the near future :). This card is no exception! I´ve got Nuvo Mousse Custard Cream (looove the tone!) on this card and I folded the card base in the same tone. Combined with cafe latte brown tone it looks really nice.
I´ve got some older paper flowers and buttons on the card (still using my stash up!) as well as some gifted doilies from my lovely friend Lizzy (thank you!). Other than that, Nuvo Mousse (obviously!) and a STAMPlorations slimline stencil.
I´ll leave you now – you might want to check on your media 😉 – see you on Tuesday with another project!
Dear Nancy!! With this card I am wishing you lots of happiness, laughter, health and many, many amazing moments to come! You have a special place in my heart as you love stencils at least as much as I do. You know I love your artworks so much. I am so honoted and happy to be able to congratulate you this way. Have the happiest of day and I hope you get spoiled by your loved ones (hope you can party abit despite the pandemic circumstances..). Sending you lots of love, xxx, Sanna
This card was done using lovely STAMPlorations products, well, because Nancy is a DT colleague at STAMPlorations, so she´d be expecting nothing less, I assume ;-). Also do read Loll´s blog post, because there will be many more people joining in on her celebration – you could even join in yourself (read more on Loll´s blog!!)
It´s a strange time to have a special birthday (I know, because I just had mine), so I think this linky party, organized by Loll, is a fabulous idea!! Thanks for organizing this, Loll!
Hello and happy Sunday!! Today I´m just quickly stopping by to share a clean and simple card with you. This one is created with older product and pieces that I was gifted with. Only the sequins are from my newer stash.
I have been very busy creating projects with my new stencils (see here). But I cannot share those just quite yet. Thus I´m doing stash-busting with older product to reduce the piles of paper and embellishments that keep piling up in my studio!
Therefore I´ll leave you with this card today. The butterflies are a present from my friend Lizzy (thank you!!). And the sticker I believe to have received from my friend Ali a while back. Rest is my own stash (Nuvo sequins and organic/natural paper from my older stash).
I used a sewing machine to attach the butterflies to the background paper (proud of myself there, as I am not very fond of sewing machines!).
Wishing you a great start into the new week! Mine will be special as I am turning 5+0 next week – yes, I am THAT old *giggles*! But there will be no big party this time around due to the pandemic regulations. Hopefully I can celebrate with friends and family some time next year (would be nice to see them again)? *fingers crossed*
Hello and happy Friday!! Today I have a day off from work – yay!!! What better way to end a week :). I have so been looking forward to this weekend and next week as I was hoping to be able to see some relatives and celebrate my special big day next week, but then Covid happened and there went all the nice plans down the drain.
So, oh well, instead of preparing a birthday party, I have been crafting cards. I mean, you only turn 50 once, right? And I was not going to hide somewhere, I was going to celebrate. My dad passed away suddenly with only 52, so the number 50 has a deeper meaning to me. Imagine you only had two years left from there? So I´ve decided to celebrate every single birthday from now own. You never know which one is going to be the last.
And now there´s Covid.. so much for the celebration. Oh well, I guess this year is just not going to get better, no matter what. So I have been crafting instead. I do love yellow, so I´ve been happily incorporating it to my work as much a possible! And this card has some fresh yellow-white stripes! I so love the background. And the centerpiece of this card is a cute owl gifted to my by my lovely friend, Lizzy! Thank you! It found a perfect spot on this card :).
I´m wishing you all an amazing weekend!! Hope everything is ok at your end! xxx, Sanna
