Hello and happy Sunday! Today I am stopping by to share a card that was inspired by a fellow crafter´ s Instagram share. Her card just hit all my snarky buttons :). That then inspired me to join their vintage challenge and here we are:
Inspired by her card and the giggles it gave me, I grabbed a few things from my older stash (ha! see how I also got another OPR-Project done and dusted! – very happy about that) and created a vintage styled, snarky birthday card.
I used older 7DotsStudio papers on the background, then added a layer of white Distress Paint with a palette knife and some brown crayon splatters on top. A vintage ribbon adds to the vintage feeling of the card, too. Then to finish the vintage feel off, I of course used a paper doll by Tim Holtz. And I also had a stamp set in my older stash (by Krumspring stamps) to create the snarky sentiment.
I hope my card ticks all the boxes required. I sure had a fun time creating this card. And it will be so much fun to give it to someony who understands a bit of snarkiness :).
Here is the link to the challenge page and their Challenge #227, by the way.
I haven´ t joined a challenge in AGES!!!! But it was really very much fun to play along. Might do that more again, because it is a good way to use up product too. So that way my 2023 personal challenge of “old product rediscovered” also would proceed nicely.
Thanks for stopping by. Wishing you a fun Sunday!
