Hi there! Time to share some additional inspiration for the Mixed Media Card Challenge Blog´s January Challenge.

And here is my second card (Phoenix rising from the ashes) for this challenge:
I first stamped the circle (Dina Wakley stamp) onto the background and embossed with gold embossing powder (by Lindy´s Stamp Gang). I then used various Distress Ink colours to create the background and then added some water splatters here and there. I really like the effect it creates. After that I stamped the bird (by Viva Las VegaStamps) with black dye ink and colored it with markers. In the end the feathers got a little glitter glue treatment.
