Travel journal, London – Pipilonias kreative Welt

Hello lovelies!! Today I´m sharing a travel journal which I created for our London city trip.

I used 3 sheets of cardstock (vanilla) and 3 pages of patterned paper for this album. I dry embossed the cardstock pieces with a „Plus One“ dry embossing folder and then wiped some Distress Ink over them. I naturally had to add some color splatters too 🙂 – this time I used Heidi Swapp Color Shine for creating splatters :). The book is 14,5 x 11,5 cm in size.

I used my Cinch for binding it all together.

I decorated all the pages beforehand and added some stamped elements here and there too. Then I also added some fussy cut images from the ueber lovely Las Mas Bonita-paper  (gorgeous, aren´t they????) as additional decorational elements.

I even used some older product on this album too. I´ve had some of the stickers for quite a while – good to find a nice spot for those too. Minibooks are perfect for destashing :).

The cover and the back is decorated with some twine and sequins.

I took this mini with me to London, but of course did not find any time to fill it. I mean, the meaning of a travel journal is to fill it as you travel, not afterwards. Now I really need to fill it soon, otherwise I will forget some details.. How about you? are you done with your albums from this summer season? ..if so, make sure you fill them right away, don´t do it the way I did :).

Happy summer, lovelies!
Sanna

Wander – Pipilonias kreative Welt

Hello lovelies, I love that the sun is finally shining and we can go swimming and spend lots of free time outside :). I am definitely more a summer girl than a winter one ;-)…

This is a vacation photo from a few years back. I just felt like scrapping summer photos today.

I am totally in love with Webster´s Pages recently. Their „Our Travels“ collection is so, so very lovely and I have used even the tiniest pieces and threw nothing away.

I felt that golden doilies would go perfectly with these papers and colours and besides, gold is very much „in“ at the moment. I also added some Enamel Dots Hearts and a sheet of empty alpha stickers on the background. The title (consisting of 3 separate words) is written with a „Wink of Stella“ brush pen. I really like the subtle shine it adds to the page.

For the background I´ve used a The Crafter´s Workshop stencil. I first sprayed it with Heidi Swapp Color Shine and then pressed the damp stencil onto the paper here and there. That created really cool map images on the background.

Have fun scrapping,
xoxo, Sanna

Hi lovelies, today I´d like to share the video process of a layout that is featured in an article I wrote for the AUG/SEP issue of Scrap365. Btw… I hope you have put your order in already??? 🙂

I am not sharing any close-ups of the page here, as you will find the whole article (with 2 layouts) in the current issue. I hope you enjoy the video 🙂

Seeing double? – Scrap365 magazine

One of my absolute favorites from the past CHA was the „Sprinkled with love“ collection from Webster´s Pages by Allison Kreft Designs. And it is an understatement to say that I was thrilled to be able to create with these gorgeous papers for the Scrap365 magazine blog!! Here are the results of my creative afternoon:

and here are some close-ups:

This is layout no. 2:

..and this was page no. 3:

If you were wondering abou the title of this post..well, you might have noticed that I have used always one single photo on my page, but printed it twice and added both to each page. I really like the effect you can create by using the same photo multiple times on one page.

I hope you will get inspired!
xoxo, Sanna
