Auf dem Weg..

Hello and happy Monday, today´s mixed media 5 minute piece is again done with Dina Wakley Gloss Sprays and onto an old book page. In addition a alcohol ink & die cut piece with an old button and a junk metal piece create a focal point.

Some Posca´s in black and white and a Klartext stamp stamped sentiment to add detail. Very much random and very “junk” art style / ugly art style piece. Just fun playtime after work :).

This time no video, just a quick photo share. Hope your Monday was good!

#tuac5minchallenge – Day 30

Hello and happy Monday! I´ve reached DAY 30 of my #tuac5minchallenge journey today. I´ve created appr. 5 minutes every single day for the past 30 days and this is my last piece for now with a video.

I used a residue tissue paper I had done some gelli printing onto. Then a few leftover stamped images that I had colored in with Distress Crayons. And an old ribbon piece with a alcohol inked, die cut mirror cardstock piece. For finishing touches I added a stamped sentiment and some white Dina Wakley Gloss Spray.

It´s been a fun 30 days! But doing a video every single day is lots of work, so I might just keep dropping finished pieces by and do a video from time to time to accompany them. But really haven´t decided on that yet. I am just going to go with what feels the best that particular day. Might also be that I don´t do a daily 5 minutes, but rather a few a week. Let´s see.

So I´ll leave you today with a little guardian angel type of project piece. See you soon with another 5 min art piece of another type of challenge! xxx, Sanna

#tuac5minchallenge – Day 28

I am very late with Day 28 share for the Ugly Art Club´s 5 min challenge today. It was a lovely day and it had to be spent outside in the garden mostly, so I recorded the video very late.. But here is today´s take:

As a base I used an old postcard and applied Dina Wakley Gloss spray´s on top, then some Nuvo embellishment mousse thru a stencil and then just random bits from one of my junk bags.

Ok, way past bedtime for me. See you tomorrow :)!

#tuac5minchallenge – Day 27

Hello and happy Friday! TGIF!!!!! It´s been a tough week and I am more than happy to enjoy some weekend relaxation time now. The sun has made a reappearance (yay!) and I´m going to enjoy it as long as it lasts. But before that, here is my #tuac5minchallenge Day 27 take:

I took a piece of old book page that had Gloss Sprays on it and added some Distress Crayon and Posca marks on top. Then a alcohol inked mirror cardstock die cut piece, an old button and random receipt bits for addition. And for finishing touches some more Gloss Spray.

Here´s the video again:

It´s ugly and messy and everything in between – my piece of Day 27, but I really like it alot. Only 3 more days to go for me (let´s see if I still continue after that). I might do a every-second/every-third day thing… let´s see. OR I´ll just do the 5 minutes and take a pic, but leave the video out. Still figuring that out.

Have a great weekend lovelies!

#tuac5minchallenge – Day 26

Hello and happy Thursday! Boy, it has been a week… and it has been so good to come home and just do 5 minutes of art every day for the #tuac5minchallenge. That has brought me down from ugly stress levels. Today´s piece is totally random, just lines and colour.

I took a gelli plate printing session residue piece and drew with white and black Posca pens on it. Then just some Dina Wakley gloss spray droplets on top, a strip of tissue paper here and there and some random alphas. I had to add the sentiment in the end, did a little overtime, but didn´t want to leave it out :).

I´ve decided to do 30 days of this for now and then see if I miss it and maybe do some more :).

See you tomorrow!
