Hello and happy Wednesday! Today I´m sharing a set of birthday cards with you. There are again done using very old Basic Grey papers. I´m still stash busting, as you can see.
I´ve just pretty much layered the papers and the chipboards on top of each other and added a stamped sentiment. Stamp is by Elizabeth Craft Designs, by the way.
I still have a few pieces of this paper left, but I´ve basically busted one block of 12×12 paper so far from this collection, so I´m very proud of myself. So today, it´s basically „wordless Wednesday“ as there is not much I can say to these cards :). Hope you like them, tho :).
Happy crafting, xxx, Sanna
Supplies (with alternative papers, as the ones I used are not available anymore):
Hello and happy Wednesday! Today I´m up with another set of Christmas cards, this time in clean and simple style. I´ve used some of the gorgeous STAMPlorations stencils on these to create the patterns.
See? Very simple and easy card ideas! I took a piece of red patterned paper (leftover piece that was on my table ;-)..) and placed the stencils on top. Then I took a blender brush and applied the golden Nuvo Mousse thru the stencil on top. After the mousse was dry, I outlined the patterns with white to make them better stand out from the background.
For the third card I used Ivory Coast Nuvo Crackle Mousse thru a STAMPlorations stencil. As a base I used a dark red cardstock piece. For decor I added some felt and wooden stars and into the middle I added a stamped sentiment. Easy peasy!
On the other cards I just added little details, like a STAMPlorations clear sticker and a wooden reindeer piece (who has a Nuvo Vintage Drop red nose, by the way ;-)..). For the other cards I just added a in brown stamped Christmas sentiment on a piece of white cardstock and inked the edges a little to give it a vintage look. The star is wood veneer combined with a star sticker. So only very little details, lots of red and a little gold with white. Very christmassy in my opinion!

Hello and happy Monday! Stash busting journey continues and today I´m sharing yet another set of birthday cards, created with older product. These happen to be older Basic Grey papers, rub-ons and chipboard elements on these cards. I really like to patterns and colours and combined with some Elizabeth Craft Designs stamps and Nuvo Drops they really look great, if I say so myself.
Above is set one. As you can see from the background, there are still a few papers to be used, but I´m almost there :). It´s was a full pack of papers, when I started and look where I am already :).
And set two. These are more clean and simple in style. And even the rub-ons still work well, even though they must be almost 10 years old by now. Awesome quality!
For decor I´ve again added some Nuvo Drops and stamps by Elizabeth Craft Desings. Easy peasy and very effective.
I especially like the one with the stamped flowers on it. I don´t know why, really. Maybe, because the background is solely yellow. One of my fave colours!!! And the stamped flowers just work so well with the paper I think.
That´s all from me today! I should get ready to mail some Xmas cards and think about presents, but for some reason, with the lockdown and all, I just cannot move myself towards such things yet. Have you done all preparations yet? I think I find it hard this year, because there will be no normal Christmas and it just does not feel the same…
Have a great day and take care! Sanna

Hello and happy Sunday! Today I´m again stopping by to share a set of Christmas cards, created using the gorgeous Sweetest Christmas collection papers by Mintay Papers. I love this collection! Here is what I made this time:
I did some fussy cutting for these cards too, by the way. And since the papers are so very sweet on their own, I didn´need to (and also didn´t want to) add much. Just some Nuvo Drops and stamped sentiments, that´s it!
I don´t know if you can see it, but there are some key lime clear drops here and there on the green parts to add dimension and texture. And on the white areas I´ve added some snow mimicing details with white glitter drops. Also some pink glitter drops were added very randomly for additional sparkle onto the poinsettia leaves.
I also added some brown Distress Ink around the edges of one card, it immediately gave the card a more vintagey look. Love that effect on this paper! And the cards still are very flat so sending them on their way will not be too expensive. Dimensional cards tend to be expensive when mailing them and also rather easy get damaged on the way. No such problems with these ones 🙂 !
Wishing you a great start into your week! We are still on lockdown here in Austria. How are you holding up at your end, lovelies? Some days I´m ok with everything and other days, well, let´s just say, are not that great. Hope everything is ok at your end, peeps!!!
Hello and happy Saturday! Today I´m again stopping by to share a Crhistmas card with you. This time created in very classic color combination: blue, red and white. I love this color combination on winter cards!
To create the background I used some blue Distress Ink. Next I placed the Winter Flowers stencil on top of that blue inked piece and applied Nuvo Expanding Mousse (worn linen) thru the stencil onto the surface and heat set it to create a 3D distressed effect.
Then I inked an additional piece of paper in blue and added a stamped sentiment. For finishing touches I added some liquid drops in red. All in all a very easy to do card, but thru the 3D mousse effect it has a nice texture and depth to it.
Wishing you all a lovely weekend! We are one week down form our second lockdown here in Austria. xxx, Sanna
