Hi there, time to share the Mixed Media Card Challenge blog´s OCTOBER challenge with you. This time the theme is: BLACK AND PURPLE and as an optional element you should use: TWINE.
Here is my take:
A black paper is my starting point. I then applied purple pearlescent texture paste onto the piece of paper thru a The Crafter´s Workshop stencil. After the surface was dry, I added some twine around the paper. Next I misted a paper flower with purple Glimmer Mist and added a black paper flower under it – all topped with a purple brad.
Finally I stamped a sentiment onto white cardstock, fussy cut it and glued it onto the card. Some purple rhinestones add more detail.
I hope you get inspired by this challenge and create a mixed media card. I´d love to see lots of you join in on this months challenge!!!
See you at MMCC,
