TAGplorations June Challenge reveal – STAMPlorations

Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday! It´s again challenge reveal time and today I am sharing the TAGplorations June Tag Challenge theme:

The month of June is All about Dad and you are asked to use a stencil when creating your tag-project! Here is what I did:

For this tag I used the Nesting Dies by STAMPlorations and die cut the base from a green cardstock. Next I took some white cardstock to die cut the circle piece. After that I stenciled some black ink with the Foiled stencil onto the green tag background.

I wanted to create a masculine look, so I used greens, browns and black. The Moose is a rub-on by 7gypsies as I didn´t have so many masculine stamp images in my stash, so I grabbed rub-ons and added a big moose as a focal point. Then i inked the circle die cut piece with brown ink.

For the sentiment I again used white cardstock that I inked brown and then stamped a sentiment from the Life in Full Color stamp set. The sentiment is longer on original, but I only used the parts that I found suitable for this tag. For finishing touches I added some faux stitching and some black & white ribbon.

Now it´s again your turn to play and submit your projects featuring a tag (and stencils) to the TAGplorations June challenge. Have fun with this one!! I´m reallly looking forward to seeing your masculine projects!!

ps. as  always, here is my discount code for the STAMPlorations online store for you to use. Enjoy!

Appreciated – TAGplorations May Challenge reminder

Hello lovelies! It´s time for the TAGplorations May challenge reminder :). I hope you have played along, but if not, there is still time to get your tag in!!! For this reminder post I created another pink tag using a similar technique, like on my reveal post here.

Except this time I replaced the main flower with paper flowers and I also added some chipboard leaves to create more texture and layers. Everything elss was done the same way as the first tag.

Even though I used the same materials these tags still look quite different! Funny, how changing the focal point makes such a big difference.

So lovelies, there is still time to join in with us. Here´s a reminder, what this months theme is about (+ additionally, use Vellum): Hope to see you at STAMPlorations!!! And I am also adding my discount code here, feel free to use it, when shopping at the STAMPlorations store 🙂

You are appreciated tag – STAMPlorations

Hello lovelies and Happy Thursday! Today I´m again sharing another tag project with you. I love the combination of orange and pink on a craft project! While I was creating for the TAGplorations May challenge, I might have created a few more, than only one tag 🙂 …

For this one I used a premade white tag as my starting point. Next I stamped the sentiment “For everything you are appreciated” several times onto the left side of the tag with embossing ink. Then I poured white embossing powder over the area and heat set it with a heat tool. After that I inked the left side with pink Distress Ink and the right side of the tag with orange Distress Ink.

I then took the Heartfelt Hibiscus clear stamp and sprayed it with a water mist bottle ever so lightly. Then I pressed the wet stamp onto the orange inked area and lifted it off. This resulted the “ghost” stamp image on the orange ink. For finishing touches I added an embossed sentiment onto a purple piece of cardstock and matted that with a piece of vellum. As a focal point there is a big layered paper flower and also a matching purple ribbon to finish the tag off.

I hope you have joined the TAGplorations challenge – if not HERE is you chance!!!

You are appreciated tag – TAGplorations May challenge reveal

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday! Today it´s again time to share this months TAGplorations challenge with you. This monts theme is: All About Mom and as an additional element you are asked to use Vellum.

This is my take for the reveal:

I took a piece of vellum and stamped the Heartfelt Hibiscus stamp image onto it, then poured white embossing powder over the stamped image and heat set the powder. Next I flipped the image around and colored it from the reverse side with alcohol markers and then adhered the fussy cut image onto the tag base with clear double sided adhesive tape.

For decoration I added some faux stitching around the edges with a white Signo Uni-ball pen and stamped sentiments from “For The Birds” stamp set onto dark purple cardstock. Those again got heat embossed with white embossing powder. For finishing touches I added Nuvo Crystal Glaze onto the smaller flowers and silver Nuvo sequins to additional sparcle here and there.

The ribbon has exactly the same color as the purple carstock and the pink patterned paper is from my older stash (still destashing here by using it all up) and got die cut with the Nesting Manila Tag die set´s biggest sized tag die. I think the sentiment fits this months theme really well as we should appreciate what our mom´s do for us!

Recycled shaker tag – TAGplorations

Hello there everyone and happy April!! We are starting this month with the TAGplorations tag challenge reveal! This months theme is RECYCLING and as an optional element you are asked to use tissue paper.

I didn´t use tissue paper, but instead created a fun shaker tag using a piece of embellisment packaging to create the skaker parts. Here is the finished piece:

This time my tag is quite clean & simple. Just a bit patterned paper, some stamping and the shaker piece. I´m really excited to see what you guys create for this months challenge as there are so very many possibilities to incorporate recycled elements to tags!! I have a feeling this months challenge will be full of great tags!!

I´ve created a process video for you to watch, to give you a better idea on how I put this tag together. Hope you enjoy!

Now is again your turn – hop over to the STAMPlorations blog and join this months tag challenge! Remember to play by the rules, you will find them listed at a separate rules section at their blog. See you there!

Like always, you can again take advantage of my discount code at the STAMPlorations store. Add “STAMPGIRLSANNA” upon checkout and you get 20% off your order!!!
