Sweet Christmas cards

Hello and happy Monday! I still have a few sets of Christmas cards to share with you guys – I hope you can still cope with the Christmas card overload ;-). Soon there will be other shares again too, I promise!

This Mintay Christmas paper collection might just be one of my very faves. It is uber cute and I just love it for that reason! Perfect for sweet and cute Christmas cards. Here is a set of 5 cards I did recently. I basically added the papers (did quite a lot fussy cutting too) and here and there some lace, wax seals, stickers or die cut backgrund pieces and rounded the cards up with Klartext stamp sentiments. I have this cool stamp set from then with 13 different “Merry Christmas” sentiments in different sizes and fonts. That set is just so, so, so versatile and works basically for every card! For one of the cards I also sneaked in another Klartext stamp set (Mixed Media Weihnachten).

Oh, and on one of the cards I sneaked a Studio Tekturek paper background to accompany the Mintay papers. Also a wax seal done by my friend Lizzy is there too :). And just a few small drops of Nuvo glitter glue here and there for that additional sparkle.

I hope you still enjoy seeing these 😉 – just a few more days and then I promise to share something else again :)!!! Have a great week!

Christmas card set, Vol. 2

Hello and happy Saturday! Today I´ m again sharing another stash busting project, combined with newer product. I´ ve used stickers from back in the day with Studio Tekturek and Dani Peuss Klartext stamps.

The paper is by Studio Tekturek and the stickers are my own very old stash. The stamp is by Klartext (available at Dani Peuss) and the cute fox wax seal was gifted to me by my lovely friend Lizzy :).

I love these snowmen so much, I guess that is why I have been saving them so long. They just look so cute and immediately make one smile :).

For the next card I used the same sticker series, combined it with a Elizabeth Craft Designs die cut background piece and added all on top of the cute Studio Tekturek paper. The stamping on the background is done with Distress Oxides in pink and light blue and the stamp is by Klartext again.

Just a fun way to add some interest to the background. I also sneaked some Nuvo Drops into both cards. I like a little sparkle around Christmas time. I think it´ s because of the dark, long days that I find sparkle so attractive. When light hits the sparkly parts, it´ s for me like fake sunrays and that somehow lifts my spirits. In the summertime I don´ t need so much sparkle.

Hope your day is great! We had SNOW the other day, quite much too, actually, for this region. And I really enjoyed seeing snow. I love how quiet it gets outside when it´ s snowing and also how much more light there seems to be around, only because of the snow. I wished it would stay until Christmas, but it rarely does.

Christmas cards

Hello and happy Friday! Today I´ m stopping by to share two cards I recently created using Studio Tekturek papers, Elizabeth Craft Designs dies and Klartext stamps.

For this card I´ ve also used a cute image from a present card I have saved. It makes for a perfect focal point on the card. The background paper is by Studio Tekturek and the stamp is by Klartext (available at Dani Peuss). The die cutting for the focal image is done with a Elizabeth Craft Designs die cut die.

And for the second card I pretty much did the same, except I used old stickers as a focal point with some Nuvo Drops glitter glue. I also outlined the stamped sentiment with old border stickers.

I have been making quite a few cards recently, but I sent quite a few on their way, so I have to be prepared. Have you already mailed all your Xmas cards? And do you make them yourself? If so, flat or bulky?

Wishing you a lovely, creative weekend!

Frohe Weihnachten

Hello and happy Sunday! Today I am sharing a set of Christmas cards I created with older product I have been saving, some previous DT time papers and some new stamps from my stash.

This above one is done with Studio Tekturek papers, Karen Marie Klip snowmen (these I´ ve had forever in my stash and didn´ t use, because they were so cute – I know, crazy, right?!). But like I have mentioned here before; those times are gone :). I am using it all and having fun doing so from now on!

And the second card is pretty much similar, except for the background paper. That is from my DT time at Canvas Corp Brands and I love the combination of the cute snowmen and the clean black and white paper here.

The stamps on both cards are new ones I bought last summer from a Dani Peuss sale. I am a sucker for Klartext stamps and the “13 mal Weihnachten” set is basically just that 13 Merry Christmas sentiments on one sheet. And it is just perfect for this season – timeless and versatile, because of different font styles!

Wishing you a lovely, creative Sunday!

105% erschöpft..

Happy Friday! Today´s share is again a layout I did recently. The theme of this page is a dare. How many of you also scrap the ugly, unpretty events in their lives? I do that from time to time.

I just love this stamp set by Klartext (Dani Peuss) so, so much! It´s perfect for those not so super happy layout themes and photos! This photo goes back appr. a month, when I ended up taking an ambulance to the hospital. At first I actually thought this might be the end, my body just had refused to work and I collapsed at the doctors office. I immediately thought I am having a heart attack. Well, thank goodness it was not that, but it still was horrible enough. Apparently I had managed to get some kind of food poisoning that went reeeaally bad in a few days and finally let to a collaps. So what better stamp set to use for this type of page than the Klartext “Nicht Okay” (not okay). I also used a few more sets – see the product list for all details!

I just love this stamp set! So I did plenty of stamping with it and added a few more Klartext stamp set to go with it, plus some Distress Oxides and Studio Tekturek papers. The combination of blue, black and red just works so well together. And boy have I missed scrapping!! This is my kind of scrapbooking – plenty of stamping, great patterned papers and a few embellishments and maybe some inks or stenciling.

Now this is a very personal page, so I will be adding the journaling later to the page and sharing it without. But it´s also good to do the ugly, uncomfortable events in life into scrapbook pages. Have you done any? It can be very therapeutical and freeing. You should give it a try! 🙂

Have a great weekend,
