Belated STAMPlorations 7th Birthday Party – day 2

Hello and happy Tuesday!! Today we start into the second day of the 7th birthday celebrations at STAMPlorations. Are you ready??

For todays post I created a slimline card. This time I used the Leaf Prints Slimline stencil. This is one of my favorite stencil from this line!

Some details on how I created the card: I used a piece of white cardstock and placed the stencil on top. Next I applied two tones of green Distress Ink thru the stencil very randomly. After that I took a dot stamp and added dark green Distress Ink dots thru the stencil onto the leaves.

The Smile word is a die cut available at the STAMPlorations store. I die cut the word from dark green cardstock and added some green sequins for decor.

The stenciled piece is mounted on a dark green cardstock from which I created the card base. Easy peasy!

Now hop over to the Day 2 post at STAMPlorations blog. There are plenty of prizes for grabs and a linky party going on. Also be sure to create a celebrations themed project and link it up! Lovelies, come and comment and link and play along!!! It´s a party week at STAMPlorations!!

All products in the store are 10% off instantly throughout October. PLUS if you use my design team discount code: STAMPGIRLSANNA upon checkout when ordering, you will get this not-yet-released stencil called „Just Plaid“ for free!!

Be sure to come back tomorrow for even more celebration fun!!

Smile card

Hello and happy Sunday!! Today I´m just quickly stopping by to share a clean and simple card with you. This one is created with older product and pieces that I was gifted with. Only the sequins are from my newer stash.

I have been very busy creating projects with my new stencils (see here). But I cannot share those just quite yet. Thus I´m doing stash-busting with older product to reduce the piles of paper and embellishments that keep piling up in my studio!

Therefore I´ll leave you with this card today. The butterflies are a present from my friend Lizzy (thank you!!). And the sticker I believe to have received from my friend Ali a while back. Rest is my own stash (Nuvo sequins and organic/natural paper from my older stash).

I used a sewing machine to attach the butterflies to the background paper (proud of myself there, as I am not very fond of sewing machines!).

Wishing you a great start into the new week! Mine will be special as I am turning 5+0 next week – yes, I am THAT old *giggles*! But there will be no big party this time around due to the pandemic regulations. Hopefully I can celebrate with friends and family some time next year (would be nice to see them again)? *fingers crossed*

Happy crafting,

Unboxing Day – The Wild Hare Kits

Good morning lovelies and happy 2nd of April! Today it´s again unboxing day over at The Wild Hare Kits today. I´m happy to be able to share my April kit with you all today :-). I was a bit afraid my kit would not arrive in time, as the shipping information did not update itself for at least two weeks, but then, suddenly on Monday, the postman pushed the parcel under our garden door (no personal contact allowed, you see).

This is my gorgeous, colorful, cheerful and happy kit. I wished for one like this. And it´s again spot on. I wished for a colourful, happy and cheerful kit for April. Little did I know when I ordered it, that we´d be sitting at home and distancing ourselves from everything. Now that it arrived, I am more than happy that I ordered this type of a kit.

Here are the videos, let´s start with English:

Here is the one in Finnish:

And last, but not least, the one in German:

I hope you enjoy the videos!! I cannot wait to start creating with this kit!! And there is also one more kit I received a few days back, my „long lost“ March kit. For those videos, just hop over to THIS POST and watch :). I´m planning on creating a minibook with that kit some time in April too, so stay tuned :).

And now to my lovely fellow WHK crafters, here are some direct links to the unboxing videos by them – enjoy!

I wish you all a lovely April and hope that thru staying at home we can „starve“ the virus out as early as possible. Stay home and stay healthy!

Brothers & Friends – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday! Today I´m sharing yet another The Wild Hare November Deluxe Kit project with you. This one is also featuring the October TWHK cut file and a start-to-finish process video. I hope you get inspired!

For this layout I first cut the „Enjoy Today“ cut file with my Silhouette Cameo several times and then misted the sentiments with various green and blue toned spray inks.

Next I sewed the sentiments on place with my sewing machine and started adding embellishments.

I used Spiegelmom Scraps sequins, Jen Hadfield „This is family“ papers and stickers, 1canoe2 Willow die cut shapes and paper as well as Heidi Swapp „Honey & Spice Florals paper as well as washi tape from the same collection.

And the title is made with American Crafts golden Puffly Letter Stickers (Thickers). I also added some stamping and a hidden journaling behind the photo.

and finally, here is the video for you to watch:

I hope you enjoyed watching the video and got inspired to scrap a little yourself! And if you are interested in trying out a kit yourself, hop over to the Wild Hare Kits website here to fill out your style profile to get started! And if you share your TWHK projects on social media, remember to tag us with #thewildharekits, so we can find you. See you soon with another scrappy project tomorrow (psst… it´s the November #30daysofthankful minibook I´m sharing). See you then!

Happy scrapping,

Dream Big! – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello everyone and happy Friday! Today I´m sharing another The Wild Hare Kits layout with you and this time again with a process video.

For this layout I´ve used the November monthly cut file which is a leaf pattern. I´ve arranged it onto a piece of white cardstock into a wreath form and the cut it with my Silhouette Cameo.

So I used both the positive and the negative pieces of the cut file image and the paper. I left the negative background piece white and added spray ink splatters here and there for interest and the leaves got a spray ink treatment in the same colours. Then I arranged the inked leaves onto the background piece and decorated everything with sequins and 1canoe2 Willow collection die cut shapes.

The paper on the background is by Pink Paislee, form their Again and Again collection (paper No. 6). For finishing touches I´ve added lots of Spiegelmom scraps sequins – the Wild Hare Kit exclusive ones that came with my kit. Also the title is created using the Puffy Alpha Stickers by American Crafts. These alphas also came in my kit.

So the only thing I´ve used outside from my kit were the spray inks and the white cardstock. Everyting else was included in my kit. And this time I´ve recorded a process video for you to watch too. Hope you like it!

I hope you get inspired by this layout idea and scrap a little yourself! If you are interested in trying the Wild Hare Kits, just hop over here and fill your personal style profile. And once you get your kit, do tag us and use #thewildharekits, so we can find you and come and admire your projects!

See you soon with another project!
