3rd Stencil Reveal

Hello everyone!!! Today I´m very excited to be sharing my 3rd stencil release with you guys!!! I´ve got 5 new stencils coming out and on the following video you can take a look at the newest designs…eeek! I´m very excited about this release!!!!

I hope you enjoy my new stencils and give them a try yourself!!! Here are some projects, created with the new stencil, for additional inspiration :).

This card and the one underneath were created with the Art Flowers stencil using tinted structure paste and Nuvo Embellishment mousse. The clear stickers I´ve used on these cards are also by STAMPlorations. I love using them on my cards!!!

This one is done using the Onion in Raws stencil with Nuvo Glitter Paste. Also again featuring some of the clear stickers from STAMPlorations….and some of my beloved Sassafass stickers I have been saving for a special occation.

On this card I used the Retro Hearts stencil with Distress Inks and some stickers from my older stash. The stamped sentiment is from the Party Time STAMPlorations clear stamp set.

This softer toned card is done with spray inks using the Tapestry stencil. I really like this pattern on the card background.

And these two are done with the Peacock Feathers stencil. On the upper one I´ve used Distress Inks, then Distress Paints on top and outlined all with a black pen. For the lower one I´ve used only Distress Inks in various colours and then added some stamping with the For the Birds STAMPlorations stamps. Could not resist to add some Nuvo Drops onto the cards also.

Here is another Retro Hearts stencil creation. I´ve first inked thru the stencil with Distress Inks, then applied some Nuvo Glitter Paste on top thru the stencil again. This adds nice texture to the card.

For this butterfly card I added Distress Inks in pink, yellow and orange thru the Tapestry stencil onto the background. Really, really like this color combination with the pattern.

I could not resist and created a card with Distress Inks using the same technique like on the above card, but this time with Art Flowers.

And also did the same with Onions in Raws stencil on the following card. I added Sassafass stickers to go with the background as I found them very suitable for the fun, colorful background. The stamp is by STAMPlorations too (see full material list at the end of this post).

For my last card I just basically wiped all ink from my ink blending tools into a piece of residue paper starting with the Tapestry stencil and the layering the Retro Hearts on top of the previous pattern and adding orange Distress Ink thru it onto the background.

So that´s it! That is my 3rd stencil release with STAMPlorations. I hope you like the video, the ideas, the cards and the new stencils. For more details on my new and older stencils, go to the STAMPlorations store HERE :).

Happy stenciling,

Best Day Ever Card – Tonic Studios

Hello lovelies and Happy Wednesday!! Even though it is almost Easter, I haven´t put up any Easter cards so far this year. Instead of Easter I am creating birthday card and celebration cards of different types at the moment. Yes, it is that time of the year again for me… birthdays and celebrations following each other.

This card is again created with the new Edge Dies by Tonic Studios. This one is called Glorious Gate and I am in love with the pattern. It is so elegant and works for so many different occations! Just love this one!!

For this card I again first created a two-toned misted background using pink and yellow spray ink tones. Next I stamped the flower image and colored it with Distress Ink tones and a water tank brush by Nuvo.

I also added some faux stitching around the edges with a black pen to create more interest to the card. The bold flower is the focal point and is by Rubber Dance stamps.

I´ve also added color splatters onto the background in green and pink tones just for a fun detail and stamped a hashtag sentiment  (by Tim Holtz) with black ink. Here the edges are open, so you can better see what is inside the card. Before adhering the background onto my card base I adhered the edges on place with a regular paper glue by Tonic. It dries very fast and holds really well.

I hope I could inspire you with my card project today. Be sure to come back for more again this week. Happy crafting!

16th Birthday Card for a boy

Helllo everyone, I shared a teen boy birthday card two days ago and while I was at it, I made a second card in a similar style.

This one is a little bigger in size, measuring 5,5 x 5,5 inches. For this card I´ve again used the Lattice stencil from my STAMPlorations stencil line, but this time applying the blue and green colour in a more random way and also fading the color towards the edges of the card.

Fior decoration I again used some older stash stickers to create the focal point and some banners on the upper right corner. I stamped the sentiment using hashtag stamps by Tim Holtz and added the number 16 (Thickers) into the middle. For additional decor there are again some Glimmer Glaze splatters as well as Nuvo Confetti Stars here and there.

I really enjoyed creating these simple cards a lot – haven´t been doing any masculine cards for a while..

Wishing you a lovely day and happy crafting,
xxx, Sanna

Happy birthday card

Hello everyone, I like creating with stencils alot and what better way to put them in action than on a birthday card for a boy. I wanted to use colour and make the card bright and happy, yet keep it simple.

So I grabbed the Lattice stencil from my STAMPlorations stencil line and inked the background with two different tones of Distress Ink.

Next I grabbed some stickers from my olrder stash and used them overlappingly to create the focal point and some funny banner-type of patterns to the upper edge.

For finishing touches I added some black paint, a stamped sentiment (by Tim Holtz) and some residue Thickers. For additional sparckle there are some Nuvo Confetti Stars here and there.

I hope the recipient likes his card ;-)…
That´s it for today, happy crafting, lovelies!!

Clean and simple card – Tonic Studios

Hello everyone and welcome to another card idea post today. I have been creating cards with the Magnificent Magnolia stamps and matching dies and I just love using them! So bare with me for just one more card :).

Yes, you are seeing right – this is in fact a Mother´s Day card (= zum Muttertag means For Mother´s Day). And yes I know it´s way too early for this kind of theme, but I just could not resist. I used up a piece of stenciled, die cut paper (the blue one, residue from one of these cards) and placed it as a centerpiece to the card. It is outlined by a scalloped oval Pearl Ripple cardstock die cut piece.

For decoration, I again added some Nuvo Glitter Drops around the oval piece. Two of the colored flowers decorate the card and another German Tonic Sentiment (available at QVC) finishes the card off. If you are interested on how I did the flowers, go back to this post to take a look.

That´s it for today – be sure to come back soon for more projects.
Happy crafting,
Sanna
