Gratulation

Hello and happy Wednesday! It´s time for another stash busting card project share! Some of you who have been crafting as long as I have, might recognize some of the product on this card as very old stash. Crafty antiques, almost :).

The background paper is from my desigm team time kits at the Wild Hare Kits and the neon flower is back from 2005 or so. I don´t even remember which company made them. And the flower stem, that is very, very old Pink Paislee if I remember correctly. I used to order boxes from their storage sales back then. I´ve got plenty of chipboard images, die cuts and such from that time still in my stash. But as you can see, they still totally work and can be combined with newer product!

And I haven´t bought ANY paper for a looong time. The only things I buy at the moment are stuff I´ve ran out of or need refilling and a few occational stencils and stamps here and there. Have you tried anything similar? I am going to be honest that it is still very hard to keep myself from ordering lovely new product, but I decided I need to first reduce product that I have.

And it feels good to use them up! It makes me happy to see some of them finally ending up on a project of some kind!

Wishing you a lovely day!

Wedding card

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today I´m stopping by to share a wedding card I recently created. This one is again made out of older product that has been sitting on my schelf for a long time. About time it got used!

I made a slimline card base out of cream cardstock and then added the light brown patterned paper as a background to the card. After that I took some older Pink Paislee paper and fussy cut the roses and arranged them onto the left upper and right lower corner of the card. A stamped sentiment into the middle with a Teresa Collins sticker and the card was done.

I really like how this card turned out! It´s happy and elegant at the same time. I love the yellow roses!! And the red stamped sentiment works great with the rose paper, too! As I´ve used old product from my stash, I´ve tried to find similar product for you from recent collections and lines.

That´s all for today. Wishing you a great week!
Happy crafting,

Unboxing Day – The Wild Hare Kits

Good morning lovelies and happy 2nd of April! Today it´s again unboxing day over at The Wild Hare Kits today. I´m happy to be able to share my April kit with you all today :-). I was a bit afraid my kit would not arrive in time, as the shipping information did not update itself for at least two weeks, but then, suddenly on Monday, the postman pushed the parcel under our garden door (no personal contact allowed, you see).

This is my gorgeous, colorful, cheerful and happy kit. I wished for one like this. And it´s again spot on. I wished for a colourful, happy and cheerful kit for April. Little did I know when I ordered it, that we´d be sitting at home and distancing ourselves from everything. Now that it arrived, I am more than happy that I ordered this type of a kit.

Here are the videos, let´s start with English:

Here is the one in Finnish:

And last, but not least, the one in German:

I hope you enjoy the videos!! I cannot wait to start creating with this kit!! And there is also one more kit I received a few days back, my “long lost” March kit. For those videos, just hop over to THIS POST and watch :). I´m planning on creating a minibook with that kit some time in April too, so stay tuned :).

And now to my lovely fellow WHK crafters, here are some direct links to the unboxing videos by them – enjoy!

I wish you all a lovely April and hope that thru staying at home we can “starve” the virus out as early as possible. Stay home and stay healthy!

Lots of love,

Schulball ´19 – The Wild Hare Kits

Hi everyone, today I´m sharing my first The Wild Hare Kits layout, created with the February Petite Kit. For this layout I recorded a start-to-finish video and based my page on the monthly sketch.

Here is the sketch:

and this is what my finished layout looks like:

I´ve drawn quite a few embellishments and paper leftover pieces from my August ´19 and January ´20 kits as an addition to the February kit, because I didn´t have very many embellishments in my Petite Kit. Therefore plenty of papers! Sooo, I am pulling leftovers from previous kits to my actual kit throughout the month. And it´s funny how everything still works so well together!!

For the step-by-step I´ve this time kept the video in it´s true length, so you can see how much time such a layout takes and how many times I go on pulling away and adding to the page and seaching for the right spot :). So in all, this page took about an hour to make. I could do a fast forward, but I thought it would be fun to show you the whole, true process of a page coming together. At least, how I do it.

I hope you enjoy watching the video and get inspired to try out this sketch youself! I love the grip pattern!!! And if you got interested in trying out a Wild Hare Kit youself, then go here and fill in your style profile.

See you again on Sunday with another The Wild Hare Kits project!!
