(heart) you & don´t forget to fly – June MMCC, Vol. 3

Hello there, lovelies!!! Time for some more Mixed Media Card Challenge inspiration for the June challenge :).

Here are my two cards:

I have again glued bits and pieces of paper/ribbon and/or washi tape onto a piece of paper, then cut those into a „frame“ form with a die cut die. Next I added some additional layers using a The Crafter´s Workshop stencil with a silvery paste.

Both cards have the same frame form as a base. To the green-yellow toned card I also added some flowers from my stash, some additional enamel dots, a stamped and fussy cut butterfly as well as a stamped sentiment.

For the second card instead of adding flowers I just added a few stickers and enamel dots for decoration and then outlined both the frame and the card with a black pen.

Hey there, lovelies! So how has your September been so far? Mine has been really nice as  I have reached a goal I set to myself beginning of July and I´ve proven myself that if you decide to do something and put your mind to it, you really can and will achieve it.

See, back in July I decided that it was about time to look after myself more, so one of the first things to do was to lose some weight. Four weeks from there I´d lost 8 kilos. I am really, really happy I started this journey and by today I´ve lost a bit more than 10 kilos. And no, I did not start this journey with a goal to look skinny, but to beel better in my skin again. And I now DO feel much better in my skin :).

OK, enough of me now…! There by the way happens to be a really nice challenge going on at Scrapki-wyzwaniowo this month that fits the above topic quite well. The challenge is all about the word „imagine“ – you can interpret it the way you like. I scrapped a layout for my son. I think I have now proven to by kids that they can reach anything, if they put their mind to it, work hard and believe in themselves. Then I also found this quote about „if you can imagine it, you can achieve it..“ in the internet and that then led to this layout.

So I´m submitting this page for Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo´s September challenge. I loved creating this page! It´s nothing that fancy, quite a simple page actually with just a few embellishments and details here and there, but the message of this page is really important to me and I really, really enjoed creating this page for my son. And it was fun to join in on a challenge for a change too :).

Mixed media tin – Paperilla-lehti

 Hello lovelies, it is my turn today to share a project at the Paperilla blog. This time I tuned an empty metal coffee tin into a pink flower dream :). I´ve also prepared a video for you. Hope you enjoy!!!

You could fill the tin with candy or cookies or something else lovely and take it with you as a little present for a family member or a friend.

Kursinfos – Pipilonias kreative Welt

*sorry, this post is only in German this time as it is all about the classes I will be holding in the near future in Vienna*

Hallo ihr Lieben! Wir haben ein paar nette Kurse für euch vorbereitet und würden uns sehr freuen, wenn ihr mit uns ein paar kreative Stunden bei Pipilonias kreative Welt verbringen möchtet. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, gemeinsam mit euch wieder basteln zu können!!

Der erste Kurs, den wir mit Sindra gemeinsam halten werden, ist ein Minialbum. Wir bauen einen Albumcover, gestalten es mit ganz vielen tollen Materialien und verzieren die Innenseiten des Albums mit verschiedenen Resist-Techniken. Ich kann euch nur sagen, dass wir sehr viel Spaß hatten beim Gestalten des Musterstückes und denken, dass euch der Kurs auch gut gefallen wird.

Dann gibt es ein Homedeco-Projekt, das wiederum in eine ganz andere Richtung geht. Industrial chick, vintage und Steampunk lassen bei diesem Kurs grüssen! Das Dekostück kann sowohl auf dem Kaminsims oder auf der Wand Platz finden. Hier werden wir auf jedem Fall wieder unsere Finger schmutzig machen und mit diversen Techniken spielen! Weiters wird es auch einen Layered Stamping Kurs wieder geben – weitere Kurstermine folgen (haltet bitte das Kursprogramm gut im Auge 😉 )!! Wir werden einen Layouthintergrund mit ganz vielen verschiedenen Stempeln und Stempelfarben gestalten und dazu die Seite fertig dekorieren. Hier ein paar Detailbilder für euch:
