December Stencil Challenge Reminder – STAMPlorations

Hello and happy Tuesday!! It´s again time to share the reminder post for the STAMPlorations stencil challenge. If you haven´t played yet, don´t worry! There is still enough time to join in with us!

For today´s additional inspiration and reminder post, I´ve prepared this snowflake card. I used Nuvo Expanding Mousse with my Snowflake stencil for this card and I love, love, love the result! And the effect is so easy to do.

I first applied Peacock Feathers Distress Ink onto a white card base, then placed the stencil on top and applied the Expanding Mousse thru it. Then heated it a bit with a heat tool and took an additonal piece of white paper that I inked in the same tone and added a stamped sentiment onto. Adhered everything onto a card base that that´s it! Easy, fast and looks so good, because it´s dimentional. Almost like real snowflakes!!

Merry Christmas card

Hello and happy Saturday! Today I´m again stopping by to share a Crhistmas card with you. This time created in very classic color combination: blue, red and white. I love this color combination on winter cards!

To create the background I used some blue Distress Ink. Next I placed the Winter Flowers stencil on top of that blue inked piece and applied Nuvo Expanding Mousse (worn linen) thru the stencil onto the surface and heat set it to create a 3D distressed effect.

Then I inked an additional piece of paper in blue and added a stamped sentiment. For finishing touches I added some liquid drops in red. All in all a very easy to do card, but thru the 3D mousse effect it has a nice texture and depth to it.
