xxx, Sanna

Daily Art Practice – Day 78

Hello and happy Friday and happy 1st of April! Here is my take for Day 78 of my Daily Art Practice 2022 with the Artist Almanac 2022. Since I took a Covid-related pause, I am late and will not be able to catch up (I think!), I even thought of taking another route to finish this year off. But I haven´ t decided on that yet. We will see.

So this one again has an old photo on it. In addition to the photo there is an old book paper, some journaling tag bits and paper pieces as well as a Klartext stamps (of course!) and some Dina Wakley Gloss Spray, Distress Oxides and Neocolor 2´ s.

I really enjoy this colour combination at the moment and find pleasure creating with it. It´ s still a simple collage type of piece. I am starting slowly and with simple stuff after the infection.

I hope you enjoyed today´ s piece as much as I enjoyed making it. It´ s so good to be back. Spring is also here! The quarantine time I was at home we had the best of weather here in Austria (of course!). Can´ t wait for better weather, more outside time and less infections (hopefully). However, I wonder if this will ever end… And the worst thing? So what if you had it once – you can still get it again (add an ironic yay to the end).

Hope you are all okay, lovelies!
See you tomorrow,
xxx, Sanna

Daily Art Practice – Day 77

Hello and welcome back to the daily routine! I am slowly starting with the daily posts again after the Covid break. Here is day 77 (March 19). Hope you enjoy!

I am not going to try and catch up on all days, I might do a few in a row maybe, but we will see how that goes. I used Neocolor 2´ s here again with Posca markers adn Klartext stamps as well as Stabilo all black.

I cut the almanac page into “half-circles”, colored the background, added stamping with “Newspaper 2” stamp and stamped the sentiments with “Nicht Okay” stamp set.

and here a few more photos:

See you tomorrow again. Boy am I glad to have higher CT-levels again, even though I am still feeling a bit under the weather and my nose is still very clogged and I get tired still. It took the virus almost exactly 2 years to find me. Thank goodness I am vaccinated, would not want to see how it would have worked out without the jabs. And glad to be back to creating even if just slowly! Today was my first day of work after 10 days, boy I am DONE. Thank goodness weekend is around the corner; will need that additional rest still.

Take care lovelies,

Daily Art Practice – Day 73

Hello and happy Wednesday! I am a day late with sharing this, but IRL got the better of me. It´ s been a rough two days. I will try and catch up this week, but I just didn´ t have the energy & time to share yesterday and also today´ s piece will not get done today. Oh well, life is sometimes very hard.

I used all kinds of papers and embellishments from my stash (mainly Canvas Corp & 7gypsies), a Tim Holtz paper doll, Klartext stamps, Dina Wakley paints and gloss spray as well as Gelatos and a Stabilo all.

Here are some detail photos:

I really enjoyed making this page! And love these colours together. I hope to be back tomorrow with a piece – let´ s see if IRL is in my favor tomorrow. Hope life is calmer at your end! Take care,
