Daily Art Practice – Day 81

Hello and happy Thursday! Today´ s daily art practice page is done and dusted. Here is day 81:

I used Distress Paints, Neocolor 2´ s and Poscas on a book page and added a Klartext stamp sentiment on top. I went the easy way for this one, because I didn´ t have a particular idea how to use this bold pattern otherwise.

and now some detail photos:

See you again tomorrow with another daily art practice piece. Hope you are all doing okay!!
Take care,

Daily Art Practice – Day 78

Hello and happy Friday and happy 1st of April! Here is my take for Day 78 of my Daily Art Practice 2022 with the Artist Almanac 2022. Since I took a Covid-related pause, I am late and will not be able to catch up (I think!), I even thought of taking another route to finish this year off. But I haven´ t decided on that yet. We will see.

So this one again has an old photo on it. In addition to the photo there is an old book paper, some journaling tag bits and paper pieces as well as a Klartext stamps (of course!) and some Dina Wakley Gloss Spray, Distress Oxides and Neocolor 2´ s.

I really enjoy this colour combination at the moment and find pleasure creating with it. It´ s still a simple collage type of piece. I am starting slowly and with simple stuff after the infection.

I hope you enjoyed today´ s piece as much as I enjoyed making it. It´ s so good to be back. Spring is also here! The quarantine time I was at home we had the best of weather here in Austria (of course!). Can´ t wait for better weather, more outside time and less infections (hopefully). However, I wonder if this will ever end… And the worst thing? So what if you had it once – you can still get it again (add an ironic yay to the end).

Hope you are all okay, lovelies!
See you tomorrow,
xxx, Sanna

Daily Art Practice – Day 77

Hello and welcome back to the daily routine! I am slowly starting with the daily posts again after the Covid break. Here is day 77 (March 19). Hope you enjoy!

I am not going to try and catch up on all days, I might do a few in a row maybe, but we will see how that goes. I used Neocolor 2´ s here again with Posca markers adn Klartext stamps as well as Stabilo all black.

I cut the almanac page into “half-circles”, colored the background, added stamping with “Newspaper 2” stamp and stamped the sentiments with “Nicht Okay” stamp set.

and here a few more photos:

See you tomorrow again. Boy am I glad to have higher CT-levels again, even though I am still feeling a bit under the weather and my nose is still very clogged and I get tired still. It took the virus almost exactly 2 years to find me. Thank goodness I am vaccinated, would not want to see how it would have worked out without the jabs. And glad to be back to creating even if just slowly! Today was my first day of work after 10 days, boy I am DONE. Thank goodness weekend is around the corner; will need that additional rest still.

Take care lovelies,

Daily Art Practice – Day 72

Hello and happy Monday!! Here is today´ s take on my daily art practice with the Artist Almanac 2022 as my starting point.

I used Neocolor 2´ s, heavy white gesso, Stabilo all black and of course Klartext stamps on this piece. I loved today´ s almanac page so much! And the slim tag looks so cool as an addition to this journal!

Here are some detail photos:

This was a fun one – see you again tomorrow!!

Daily Art Practice – Day 67

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today´ s daily art practice piece is done and dusted!

This is the craziest background in a while. I just used all residue bits of previous days almanac pages and added some Neocolor 2 on top and then some white gesso here and there. On top of that some plus signs and random patterns done with Poscas. The leaves I drew on today´ s almanac piece and fussy cut them to add them on top of everything in the end. And then some alpha stickers for the word “hope”.

And for finishing touches some Dina Wakley Gloss Spray. It´ s a very crazy page, but I cannot seem to be able to do anything else at the moment. The state we are in atm. just seems to come thru this way on paper. Here are a few more photos:

I hope you still enjoyed today´ s take. See you again tomorrow with another one!

Take care,
xxx, Sanna
