Remember the now ATC

Hello and happy Friday! Today I´m sharing yet another artist trading card, created using some of the new Elizabeth Craft Designs product I received in the mail last week.

For this one I created the background using Distress Inks and Stains, then stamped in the same way, like on the ATC shared yesterday (read more here).

So the background is similar/identical to the one shared yesterday, but for this one I also used some leftover die cut pieces as leaves, then added a suede ribbon that I misted with spray ink and matted the card onto a turquoise piece of burlap. Also this one has a sentiment as additional detail.

Love the contrast of pink and turquoise with the black stamping. Adding these pieces to my ATC stash again.

Wishing you all a great begin into the weekend!!

Alpha Flower ATC

Hello and happy Thrusday! This week I´ve sent quite a few envelopes on their way into different locations around the world. I posted a photo of my ATC´s and offered them for swapping. And I honestly didn´t think there would be so many interested 🙂 – so only after one weekend my ATC pile is down to a half of it´s original size. Therefore, time to make MORE :).

So today I´m again sharing an ATC with you. Again using the new Elizabeth Craft Designs product I received last week. This time it´s the alphas.

I had been playing with Distress Inks and Stains on a piece of white paper a while ago and chose to use that piece for an artist trading card background. I then added the stamping. I simply inked the whole stamp set with black ink, while it was still attached to it´s original packaging. This way I had a random alpha pattern on the background.

Then just a few elements, like burlap, twine, a brad and a flower as a centerpiece and for finishing touches some Nuvo Vintage Drops in white. I love the white! Goes with EVERYTHING! I call this card „Alpha Flower“ :-D.

I am totally liking the new Art Journal line at Elizabeth Craft Designs. So stay tuned for more artwork with that. I might need to go shopping for some more *looks innocently into the sky* :).
