Starting off with a white paper is one of my favorite things to do when scrapbooking. Creating a unique background to each layout is such a fun, creative process and there is for sure no second page alike. The Tattered Angels Mixed Media Origins papers are also perfect for this purpose! You can color them in with watercolor, paints, mists, inks, pastels and more. Here is the paper I started with:

If you haven´t tried the Mixed Media Origins papers yet, here are a few good reasons why you definitely should:
I wanted to use there photos, as they have a special meaning to them. The great cousins meet after a long time (in London, as it happens, how practical that the paper is London/UK themed! And a total coincidence!!!). Two of the kids are almost grown up, and the other ones still very little. There is so much admiration from the little ones towards the big ones, and the grown up boys patiently play and goof around with the small kiddos. Then comes the sudden attack of affection. What special memories!!! I just needed to capture these precious moments on a layout. I chose to print my photos in black and white, and use lots of happy Tattered Angels colors on the papers. In a start-to-finish video tutorial you can see how this layout comes together.
