Hello everyone and happy Sunday! Today I´m stopping by to share one more set of Christmas cards, this time again, created with Christmas papers by Mintay Papers.
For this set, like on the previous ones, I used only little additional decoration. Just some ribbon or a tiny resin snowman and a cute doily. I didn´t want to cover the beautiful papers too much, as they are very pretty on their own.
I´ve also again added some Nuvo Drops here and there onto the cards for additional sparkle, but that is pretty much all I did. I just adore these papers so much on their own :).
Wishing you a lovely Sunday and hope I could inspire you a little today. Happy crafting, xxx, Sanna
Hello and happy Friday lovelies!!! Today´s post is again about Christmas cards. No surprise there, right? Well, I make plenty every year, so I will share those mostly during December every year, so hope you can still handle a few more Christmas card related posts. Not long now anyways, as Christmas is soon here.
These cards are again done using the absolutely adorable Christmas paper collection by Mintay Papers. It´s a collection from last year, but I have still papers left, so I´m using them all up. And I love how they look! So, so, so pretty!!
I´ve added some brown Distress Ink around the edges to the card on the left. It creates such a nice vintage look to the papers! on the right card, there is some Nuvo Key Lime clear drops on the lights. It adds a nice dimension. Other than that, the sentiment is stamped with Elizabeth Craft Designs Winter Sentiments. Some Nuvo glitter drops here and there and that is basically it.
I hope you like today´s card share and I hope to have inspired you today. Happy crafting, xxx, Sanna
Hello and happy Sunday! Today I´m again stopping by to share a set of Christmas cards, created using the gorgeous Sweetest Christmas collection papers by Mintay Papers. I love this collection! Here is what I made this time:
I did some fussy cutting for these cards too, by the way. And since the papers are so very sweet on their own, I didn´need to (and also didn´t want to) add much. Just some Nuvo Drops and stamped sentiments, that´s it!
I don´t know if you can see it, but there are some key lime clear drops here and there on the green parts to add dimension and texture. And on the white areas I´ve added some snow mimicing details with white glitter drops. Also some pink glitter drops were added very randomly for additional sparkle onto the poinsettia leaves.
I also added some brown Distress Ink around the edges of one card, it immediately gave the card a more vintagey look. Love that effect on this paper! And the cards still are very flat so sending them on their way will not be too expensive. Dimensional cards tend to be expensive when mailing them and also rather easy get damaged on the way. No such problems with these ones 🙂 !
Wishing you a great start into your week! We are still on lockdown here in Austria. How are you holding up at your end, lovelies? Some days I´m ok with everything and other days, well, let´s just say, are not that great. Hope everything is ok at your end, peeps!!!
Hello and happy Saturday!! Today I´m sharing a set of pink toned Christmas cards with you. I created these using the Mintay Papers Sweetest Christmas collection from last year.
When using such gorgeous papers, the cards really don´t need much additional decoration.
I decorated the cards with only a little bit of various Nuvo Drops tones and added STAMPlorations Clear Stickers as a sentiment to each card.
Other than that I added just a tad of ink onto one card, the others just have the Nuvo Glitter Drops and Clear Stickers as decor. So if you need easy to do cards, take a gorgeous patterned paper, just add some stamping or sentiment stickers and a little glitter and the cards are good to go! If you want a little more effects, fussy cut some pieces and add them with 3D foam to the card. That way you get more dimension.
