Opportunities ATC set – STAMPlorations

Hello there, everyone! It´s again time for Stencil Sunday. This time I created a set of two ATC´s. I chose a very monochromatic color combination for these two. I seem to be drawn to monochromatic at the moment. And again, this is also a reminder to play along with the current STAMPlorations Mixed Media challenge!! Read all about it here!!

And now to my ATC´s – here they are:
I first cut white cardstock into a right size and misted those pieces with Silk Glimmer Mist. Next I cut some Canvas Corp fabric into a slightly smaller size than the ATC base and placed them into a cardboard box for misting. I placed a stencil over the fabric pieces and misted with purple Baseboard Mist over the stencil. I was not particularly careful, if the image was perfect. I like this look alot.

After misting, I placed a white cardstock piece over the misted, wet stencil and rolled over the surface with a brayer to make sure all the residue mist absorbed into the cardstock evenly. This way I used the residue ink.

I then glued the fabric onto the ATC base, added some purple lace and DIY gympum flowers which I had decorated with mist and glitter glue. I then cut a piece of the brayered cardstock, stamped the word opportunities with a STAMPlorations stamp onto the paper and fussy cut those. After adhering the stamped words onto my ATC cards I just outlined them with a black pen and added a couple of gems for additional detail. I hope you get inspired to play with stencils and while doing so, please do join our challenge!! Just remember, no cards allowed (for rules read here).

Happy crafting,
xxx, Sanna

Memories Tag – STAMPlorations

Hello everyone! Time for another fun little stencil project for this weeks STAMPlorations Stencil Sunday. This time I created a doodled background tag with lots of droplets on it.

Well, it has sure been raining here this summer, so why not go with the flow (haha!) and use some water droplets. Here is what I did:

Sanna Lippert - stenciled water droplet background tagThis tag is really easy to make, but the effect is pretty cool:

Sanna Lippert - stenciled water droplet background tagStep 1: Take a black tag, white gel pen, a stencil of your choice (mine is by STAMPlorations: Droplets Mini) and place the stencil over the tag and start tracing along the droplet patterns thru the stencil with the white pen. More the stencil as you proceed with the doodling. Finally add some details to the droplets to make them look more „real“. I used some mold to create my own embellishments (by Mold Muse) out of gypsum. Then I misted them (Tattered Angels) in green and blue. The buttons are actually rubber buttosn. They add a fun feel to the project. Sanna Lippert - stenciled water droplet background tagStep 3: Keep on adding layers until you are satisfied with the end result. I added some book paper, buttons, gypsum mold images, some lace, ribbon and golden yarn. Stamp a sentiment (STAMPlorations Create stamp set) with black ink onto a piece of old book paper, fussy cut and glue onto the tag. Attach a white lace on top and the tag is finished. Here is the finished result (and some details shots):

You can win some goodies from the store, but you need to play by the rules. Have fun!!! Hope to see you join in!
