Hello there everyone!!! I hope you all are having a lovely holiday season and some relaxing downtime from all the fuss with your family and loved ones! I am enjoying a couple of days off work. So in between eating Christmas cookies and good food, I am dropping by to show you a girly Christmas card. The recipients wish was to have loooots of glitter and pink on the card, so this was my interpretation on that:
I´ve used a die cut Christmas tree I received from am Xmas card swap I join every year. I really like this fliligree tree very much. I´ve frist taken a pink paper and stamped snowflakes with VersaMark ink onto it, then heat set a white embossing powder onto them. The little spots here and there are supposed to be additional snowfall :). then I took another pink patterend paper, covered that with clear double sided adhesive from Elizabeth Craft Designs and placed the die cut tree onto it. After that I poured a layer of pink SIlk Microfine Glitter onto the areas and attached (polished) that with my fingers to the adhesive.
Finally all I needed to do was to add a stamped sentiment (Stampin´ Up!) and glitter glue details (Nuvo and Stickles) and some wood veneer stars to the card. Finished the card off with some faux stitching around the edges. That was it. The recipient really liked her girly card, so I am happy to have accoplished my task to her liking :).
Next up will be a masculine Christmas card, so be sure to come back for that in a few days time :). Merry Christmas and happy crafting,
