DAP-journal – August 10th, 2022

Hello and happy Sunday! Here is the next page from my Daily Art Practice journal:

I used Neocolor 2´ s on the background in blue and pink, then added a pattern with Gansai Tambi watercolors and after that added some magazine images in black and white with the original almanac page piece in the middle. For finishing touches I outlined some TCW stencil images with a black pen and colored them in with Neocolors.

Have a nice day everyone!

DAP-journal – August 8th, 2022

Hello and happy Friday! This is my take on the August 8th Almanac page:

I adhered it onto the page as it was and then continued in similar style for the rest of the page. I used pearlescent watercolours, red aper and black pens here and there.

This time I didn´ t even add a sentiment to the page, but just left it very simple with lots of white space.

Have a great weekend lovelies!

Daily Art Practice 2022 – Day 35

Hello and happy Saturday! It is again time to share my daily art practice 2022 art piece. I make these with the Artist Almanac 2022 as my daily starting point. Today is again a tag, because I need to fit 365 days into 180 day, so I need to additional pieces as I go.

This time I worked on a black tag with golden watercolours and fussy cut the almanac page into leaves to add to the magazine flower. And a Klartext-stamp (“Denglisch”) is again there.

And here are a few more photos of the tag:

I really like these watercolours so much! And n this little black tag they really sparkle. Wishing you all a great weekend!

Daily Art Practice – Day 10

Happy Tuesday! This is my take for day 10 for the Daily Art Practice with the Artist Almanac 2022.

I used some tissue paper from Tina Walker on the background with Gansai Tambi Watercolours. On top I added the fussy cut pieces of today´ s almanac page. Some became coulds, some “rocks”. I used a piece of washi tape which made me go crazy. It was stuck and I just could not get it rolling…

Instead of using the Klartext stamps this time, I chose some Tim Holtz stickers and ephemera. I think they work well with the colour combo of the page.

Thanks for stopping by to see my contribution of the day. See you again tomorrow!!
Take care, Sanna
