You are fab! – more MMCC inspiration

Hello everyone! Time to share the last two cards for the July MMCC challenge :).

On the first card I have use a piece of blue burlap as a background, then added a blue cardstock and stamped with a blue ink onto it (using a Prima stamp). After that I fussy cut the flower pots from a piece of patterned paper and then glued the flowers with glue dots on their places. The sentiment was created with tiny alpha stickers and in the end I added some black Glimmer Glaze splatters as additional detail to the card.

The last card I a last piece from the 12×12 inch background piece I created in the beginning. I´ve added some faux watercolor using a blue spray ink, then added some stamping with a hand carved stamp and blue ink and after that I´ve added some glue here and there and poured some embossing powder over the glued areas. I then heat set the powder and after that added all kinds of bits and pieces from my stash. There is some washi tape, some rhinestone arrows, some stickers and also some blue Glimmer Glaze in there. This has been a really fun challenge!!! I hope you have found the time to join in with us! Have a great start into the new week, lovelies!!!

See you at MMCC,

Happy everything – more Mixed Media Card Challenge inspiration

Hi there! I´m up with another Mixed Media April Card Challenge inspiration card today. This one is again totally different to the previous one. That being bold in orange and red, this one is totally sweet and light in color. Oh, the theme this month is flowers and baskets, by the way.

and this is the card I was talking about:

I´ve used a light yellow vellum piece on the background and heat embossed flowers onto it with white, light blue and light pink embossing powders. After that I just wrapped some twine around the vellum and adhered that piece to the card base. Next I´ve stamped a sentiment and created banners out of the words. In the middle there is a huge Prima flower as a decorational element. That´s it! Oh, not quite! I almost forgot that I also added some shabby white embossing enamel (Fran-táge) here and there on the background too. But that´s all :).

I´m hoping you will find some time to play along with us this month – it´s flowers, so why not make a lovely Mother´s day card for example? :). Hope to see you at MMCC!!!
