December Stencil Challenge Reminder – STAMPlorations

Hello and happy Tuesday!! It´s again time to share the reminder post for the STAMPlorations stencil challenge. If you haven´t played yet, don´t worry! There is still enough time to join in with us!

For today´s additional inspiration and reminder post, I´ve prepared this snowflake card. I used Nuvo Expanding Mousse with my Snowflake stencil for this card and I love, love, love the result! And the effect is so easy to do.

I first applied Peacock Feathers Distress Ink onto a white card base, then placed the stencil on top and applied the Expanding Mousse thru it. Then heated it a bit with a heat tool and took an additonal piece of white paper that I inked in the same tone and added a stamped sentiment onto. Adhered everything onto a card base that that´s it! Easy, fast and looks so good, because it´s dimentional. Almost like real snowflakes!!

Be sure to stop by the STAMPlorations blog for more inspiration from the design team girls. And then do play along with us, just remember to follow the rules, to be eligible for the prizes! And have fun creating :)!

Cute Christmas cards

Hello everyone and happy Sunday! Today I´m stopping by to share one more set of Christmas cards, this time again, created with Christmas papers by Mintay Papers.

For this set, like on the previous ones, I used only little additional decoration. Just some ribbon or a tiny resin snowman and a cute doily. I didn´t want to cover the beautiful papers too much, as they are very pretty on their own.

I´ve also again added some Nuvo Drops here and there onto the cards for additional sparkle, but that is pretty much all I did. I just adore these papers so much on their own :).

Wishing you a lovely Sunday and hope I could inspire you a little today. Happy crafting,

Present set for Christmas – Elizabeth Craft Designs

Hello everyone, it´s again that time of the month that I get to share another fun project over at Elizabeth Craft Desings blog. This is also my very last project share for this year there. So today I´d like to share a little set with you, consisting of a Christmas present tag, a Christmas card and a tiny Christmas present box.

I´m sharing the steps for the box as well as the tag over at the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog, so do hop over there to read all details! Here is just a photo share of the steps – more on their blog :)!!

And here is the finished set:

By using only three colours it´s easy to keep the set harmonious. This present set is perfect, for example, to carry a bracelet of small jewellery of some kind. If you change the color combination, you can easily do a completely different looking set using the exact same steps. Imagine using black and white and a hint of gold, for example. Since the patterned paper I used, is from my older stash, I added a few alternative paper suggestions to the product list for you from the Elizabeth Craft Desings store that in my opinion would nicely work with red, white and blue color combination.

I hope to have inspired you with my little Christmas present set today. This set could also easily be put into mail for those loved ones, who we cannot see this year. I wish you all a lovely holiday time, even though the circumstances and the situation we are all living at the moment.

Wishing you a lovely Sunday!!

December Stencil Challenge STAMPlorations

Hello and happy December! It´s again beginning of a new month, so that can only mean it´s time for another STAMPlorations Stencil Challenge reveal. Yay!!!

Here is my card for the December stencil challenge reveal:

Remember this video I shared about my new stencils? Well, I shortly also show how this look can be done on that video, so if you are interested, here is the link to the video.

In fact, creating this card was really easy (a good idea to keep in mind, when you need to make plenty of cards?). I took a piece of white cardstock, placed the Christmas Wreaths stencil on top and first inked thru the whole area with green Distress Ink (yes, also the berries in green). Next I took a text stamp (old from my own stash) and stamped with black ink thru the stencil over the leaves. This creates the cool look. Then I removed the stencil and took some liquid pearls and added the dots on top of the green areas. The green areas worked as markings, in a way. For finishing touches I added the clear sentiment sticker (also by STAMPlorations) into the middle and mounted the white piece onto a green cardstock that I folded into a card using a score board. Easy peasy (and fast)!

Be sure to stop by the STAMPlorations blog to see more inspiration by the lovely design team girls and then play along with us!! Please remember to play by the rules if you want to be eligible for the prizes!!! And other than that, have fun creating!! Looking forward to your creations!! Also, like always, take advantage of my discount code, if you plan on ordering something 🙂

Happy stenciling,

Christmas cards with Very Much Merry collection – Studio Tekturek

Hello lovelies!! Did you know that Studio Tekturek has a lovely new collection out, called „Very Much Merry„. So this year, Christmas is going to be very pastellic toned. I love the designs. Especially the Santa journaling cards and the tiny Xmas tree paper!

I got this super cute paper in the works and I ended up creating a big pile of Christmas cards with it! A total of 11 cards for starters. Once I got started, I could not stop!

Here are the first four cards. Those Santa´s make me smile!! And the cute journaling cards are perfect for a December Daily, but also make a really nice detail on a Christmas card! I wanted to concentrate on the paper and leave them space to shine, so I kept the decoration very simple.

I did also make some shaker cards, by die cutting a Christmas tree from the patterned paper and filling the shaker part with various tones of confetti. Rest of the shaker cards I kept really simple, just adding the patterned paper and a little sentiment sticker.

I´ve also added some Nuvo Drops on top of the shaker Christmas tree windows. This adds a fun detail to the trees – almost like baubles.

The green and blue snowflake card have the patterned paper peeking thru from the background and an inked piece of white cardstock is on top. I especially love how the tiny Christmas trees are peeking thru behind the snowflake. The other cards I really clean and simple in style. I wanted to make them that way to get the papers stand out more. They are so beautiful on their own, that they really do not need much decoration at all. Some Nuvo Drops and stamping here and there and that´s enough in my opinion.

I´ll be sharing more projects, created using these papers very soon. I cannot wait to create Christmas present tags with this collection!! And also cannot wait to send these cards to friends and family :)!!!

Check out the Studio Tekturek STORE and spread the word about their lovely designs. It´s a small family business who can use all the support they can get, especially during these difficult times with lockdowns and social distancing!! Be sure to check out their store for more collection and designs and follow them on Insta.

See you soon with even more projects!! Happy crafting!
