Clean & simple tag

Hello everyone, remember the orange shaker card with recycled parts? Well, while I was creating that tag, I still had some of the lovely digi paper left over. Therefore I went and created a second tag in a similar style, this time adding stamping into the areas I had the shaker in on my first tag.

This is what I ended up with:

I really like those little birdies there!

I used two tones of Distress Ink to create the two-toned effect on the banner as well as inside the punched circles. For decoration I again added some Nuvo Confetti Stars. Love those!

And I even recorded a little process video about this tag too:

I hope this tag brings a smile on your face, like it did on mine when I created it. I´m really not an orange person at all, but I find this tag really appealing for some reason.

Wishing you a lovely day,
Happy crafting,

Recycled shaker tag – TAGplorations

Hello there everyone and happy April!! We are starting this month with the TAGplorations tag challenge reveal! This months theme is RECYCLING and as an optional element you are asked to use tissue paper.

I didn´t use tissue paper, but instead created a fun shaker tag using a piece of embellisment packaging to create the skaker parts. Here is the finished piece:

This time my tag is quite clean & simple. Just a bit patterned paper, some stamping and the shaker piece. I´m really excited to see what you guys create for this months challenge as there are so very many possibilities to incorporate recycled elements to tags!! I have a feeling this months challenge will be full of great tags!!

I´ve created a process video for you to watch, to give you a better idea on how I put this tag together. Hope you enjoy!

Create memories tag set

Hi there lovelies! Today I´m sharing a set of happy orange toned flower tags with you. These are created with plenty of STAMPlorations product, but also feature the absolutely GORGEOUS flower stamps by Rubber Dance, who´s owner happens to be Susanne Rose. I have admired her work for a long time now. Love, love, love her happy colored, bright artwork!!

So I created these two tags for their Forever Stamping challenge :). Here are my tags:

I´ve inked the die cut tags with Distress Inks first, then added a stencil on top and created the flower pattern. After that I stamped the beautiful Rubber Dance Doodle Flowers (I am in love wth these ones!!!) on white cardstock with black ink.

I had a scrappy friend over, who recently bought herself the Brother Scan n´ Cut and she cut the stamped images for me with her new machine. Dear Santa, Easter Bunny or whoever happens to listen: that machine is on my wishlist, on the very top of it!!

After the images were cut, I colored them with a water tank brush and Distress Inks. Then I only needed to adhere them on place, stamp the sentiments and add the ribbons and some star confetti for decor. That´s it.

I am not an orange person, but these tags turned to my liking and really made me happy.

That´s all for today. Wishing you a great start into the new week!
Happy crafting,

A set of stenciled and misted shaker cards

Hello and Happy Wednesday! Now if you know me, you know I love stencils alot! Today I´m sharing a set of stenciled & misted shaker cards with you. I´ve used the Echo Park Paper Shell stencil for misting the card base with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists. Next I´ve die cut the circle with Tonic Studios circle dies and created a shaker window. Before adding the glitter and confetti I stamped a sentiment inside the window for a fun detail.  After that I just finished the card off with some embellishments I had in my stash, faux stitching and a stamped sentiment. On the pink card I repeated the above mentioned steps, but changed the Glimmer Mist tone to Pink Poodle and filled the shaker part with pink confetti and glitter (by Tonic Studios).

For decoration I added again a stamped sentiment (Tim Holtz) and some faux stitching and some very old paper flowers from my stash. These go back to the time when I started scrapbooking!!

And of course I could not stop at two cards, but had to make 3 at once. For this light green toned shaker card I used Aquamarine Glimmer Mist with the stencil and filled the shaker part with green toned confetti and glitter.

For decoration I added some lime green paper roses and a golden paper leaf. I didn´t want to add any faux stitching on this one, as I really liked the soft overall look with the roses and the ribbon.

I had so much fun creating these confetti shaker cards!!! And they are quite easy to make too. The stencil, by the way, is from my The Wild Hare Kits January guest design team kit. I love, love, love using it!!

That´s all from me today, see you soon again with more projects!!!
