Set of birthday cards – Elizabeth Craft Designs

Hello everyone and happy Sunday! Joset Designs at Elizabeth Craft Designs has these gorgeous new backgrounds out and they sent me this set to play with. Lucky me!!! Thank you so much for that, Joset!! I adore this new set. Just look how gorgeous the backgrounds are!

This first card is made using a patterned paper from the ECD store and combined with Brushed Pewter Silk Microfine Glitter and the Leaf Pattern Background die. I also added the Budding Florals die to create some flowers to the card.

I used light blue cardstock from the ECD store for that. Also some Silverado Silk Microfine Glitter is on the top of the flower buds. The sentiment is stamped with Build Your Own Sentiments 1 clear stamp set. And for additional decor I added a few enamel dots in grey.

For my second card I used pink cardstock from the ECD store and die cut the paper using the Organic Triangle Background die. Then I added some clear double sided adhesive (in sheets) onto the die cut background and applied Copper Rose Silk Microfine Glitter onto the open areas.

I love this technique as it is so very easy to create and looks so festive every time. Then I stamped the sentiment using the same stamp set as on the previous card and added some paper flowers from my older stash and a brad to decorate/highlight the card.

For my last card I used the same pink cardstock and the Floral Burst Background die and added the clear double sided adhesive sheet onto the background. Then I poured plenty of Silverado Silk Microfine Glitter onto the open areas and voilá! The shimmery background was done. For decor I again did a sentiment banner using the same stamp set as on the two previous cards.

And for finishing touches I added a premade shaker tulip that I have had in my stash for at least ten years now. I have been trying to reduce that old stash bit by bit, so you will be seeing me adding those older pieces to cards every once and a while.

Now what do you think? Was I promising too much when I said, these background dies are gorgeous?! I think they are just awesome. And can be used in so many ways! Cannot wait to play more with them!

Wishing you all an amazing day and lots of crafty fun!

Happy birthday card

Hello everyone and happy Saturday! Today´s share is a birthday card, created using mainly Elizabeth Craft Designs products as well as some very old flower paper from my older stash.

I am still stash busting, as you can see :). And here is the finished card:

I first cut the blue patterned paper (by Elizabeth Craft Designs) in size and then I attached some Clear Double Sided Adhesive onto the green patterned paper (from my own old stash of papers) and die cut the Bubbles. After die cutting, I adhered them onto the blue paper and cut any residue off.

Then I die cut the „leaves“ with the Budding Florals die from an old Basic Grey paper (again from my very old paper stash) and after fussy cutting the other leaves and roses, arranged everything onto the card and adhered them on place. A birthday sentiment to finish the card off and everything was done. I really like the look of this card. The flowers work really well with the bubble pattern. And I love the turquoise paper so much.

Here´s to a lovely weekend! Hope you are all doing fine!!

You are the Best

Hello, and happy Friday! Today I´m sharing another card with you. This one is again created using mainly Elizabeth Craft Designs products. I managed to make a pile of cards the other day and it felt really good. So I think I´m back :).

When I made the bold and colorful card (see my previous post!) and I used the Spring Fling stamp set, it inspired me to create a DIY stamped patterned paper (like on the card above). I love how the fragile flowers look like on the background.

I then just die cut the oval into the middle and added the die cut flower pieces and a stamped sentiment. A little bit of Silk Microfine Glitter on the flowers adds a nice sparkle and a few enamel dots finish the card off.

And it´s all in brown tones. I haven´t used brown in a while, so it was about time. Wishing you a fabulous weekend!
