Susan K. Weckesser and The Crafter´s Workshop blog hop projects

Hello there, everyone! Today I´d like to share with you (a bit late, I know..) my projects I created for the Susan K. Weckesser and The Crafter´s Workshop blog hop week last week.

Here are the two cards I created using stencils and stamps and a little step-by-step tutorial for you:

I first stamped the image on a separate paper, then inked it with brown Distress Ink. After that I applied some water splatters over the inked areas and let them dry. Since Distress Ink is water soluble, the ink will disappear from the wet areas and leave nice light “splatters”.

Next I covered the card base with a lighter brown Distress Ink colour and then stenciled over it with a darker tone. After that I just added some ribbon, the chipboard elements and finally glued the stamped image on top of it all.

The second card is made using the same technique, but in different colours.

I hope you get inspired to try some stamping and stenciling on your cards!!
Here is also a direct link to the Susan K. Weckesser blog :)!

Have fun!!
