Hello everyone and happy Sunday! Today is day 3 of STAMPlorations 6th birthday celebrations!! Be sure to check out the STAMPlorations blog for all details and fun prizes!!!!
For the day 3 celebration I´ve created a set of stenciled cards for which I used my newest STAMPlorations stencil line stencils. So here goes, this is the first set:
I used the Tapestry and Onion is Raws stencils on the above cards and I love how they turned out.
What I did, is I basically started by applying Distress Ink and/or Distress Oxide onto a piece of white paper. Next I chose a stencil I wanted to use and placed it onto the inked paper. I then applied a layer of Distress Oxide thru the stencil, either using only one colour or mixing and blending colours.
After that I die cut the circles and decorated them with washi tapes, brads and flowers and/or stickers as well as Nuvo Drops and roller stamp sentiments. Next I adhered the finished circles to a yellow toned card background and stamped a sentiment and added outlining. That´s it. Fun, fast and easy.
For my second set of cards I used the same basic idea of a circle, except I just added stenciled details using Distress Oxides only. The stencils I used are Art Flowers and Retro Hearts, also from my line of stencils. For my card centerpiece I chose to add a heat embossed “Congrats” sentiment. The stamp is also by STAMPlorations. And for these cards I´ve also inked a white card base into a matching tone (either yellow or blue). And for additional decorational elements I´ve added Nuvo Confetti or Sequins.
