Mixed Media Card Challenge #5 – more inspiration

Hi, how´s your week been so far?? I hope you will find some time for crafting this weekend? If you do, why not join in with us at the Mixed Media Card Challenge Blog! They have a lovely challenge going on:

And there is also a great prize for grabs too – see the details here! So even more reason to join in!!

I had such fun creating for this challenge that I have a couple of cards to share :).

The stamps I have used on both cards are by Stamplorations :). Love, love, love the sentiments and the bells!

I dry embossed a piece of white cardstock for both cards and built my cards on those pieces. The first one has a banner with a chipboard leaf element on it (covered with glitter glue for additional shine) and the red buttons kind of resemble berries. I also added some golden spray ink splatters onto the background. For the second card I used the same green paper strip and a white dry embossed background paper, but adhered it vertically. The bells I colored with markers and added some glitter glue on top. There is also a hint of grey ink on the background (grey spray ink).

Hope you get inspired and hope to see you at MMCC :),
xoxo, Sanna

  1. deine Karten sehen beide super aus! Mir gefällt auch der grüne Block auf dem weißen embossten Hintergrund sehr gut.

  2. Ihanan ärtsyjä vihreitä! Tulevat upeasti esiin valkoisesta taustasta:)
Ja muutenkin tuo värikombo on aika perfect; valk., pun. & vihreä!

  3. Hi Sanna. LOVE both your cards. The white background really makes your green banners pop. The repeat stamping is a fabulous design technique. The chipboard leaf is fun, especially with the red “berry” buttons. 🙂 And the bells are so pretty. Loll xx
