Hello lovelies! Today I´d like to share a set of two cards with you, created with spray inks, die cut dies and Silk Microfine Glitter – products mainly by Elizabeth Craft Designs. These are very fast and easy to make.
First I took white cardstock, die cut the leaf image out of the white cardstock piece and then matted the whole background with double sided adhesive. Next I took the „negative“ die cut piece (= the background of my card) and added some blue spray ink as well as white and black ink splatters to the background. Next I adhered the piece onto the card base that had the clear double sided adhesive layer on it. That way only the areas with the leaf pattern and the word „Thanks“ were open. I then poured some Silk Microfine Glitter (glue and green) onto the open areas, polished the areas to make the glitter shiny and brushed off the residue glitter. The card was done!
On my second card I again first die cut the flowers, then added some stenciled feathers with blue ink onto the background. After that I added some blue spray ink like on my first card and then adhered the „negative“ background piece onto the clear double sided adhesive treated card base. Now I attached the die cut flowers and treated the open areas with various green and blue tones of Silk Microfine Glitter. In the end I added a stamped sentiment to finish off the card.
These are really easy cards to make and depending on the patterns and colors you choose, you can create them for various occations. You just need to think abit in which order to do what. The rest is easy :).
Let´s stay creative,
