Hello there everyone and Happy Tuesday! I recently let someone special organize my paper stash by color and while she was at it, I came across bits and pieces of paper that either were to be thrown away or used for something right away. So I chose to use them immeditely. And while the person was organizing, I created a few clean and simple cards with those bits and bobs.
This is a paper pack cover sheet that has different images on it and it´s a nice size for a card on it´s own, so I used those paper pieces as card backgrounds. On this one the dotted flower paper. I also had some Just A Girl With Ideas digi paper still in my stash and these butterflies are from one of her collections. I fussy cut them and layered them on top of each other and then added a Tonic Studios German Sentiment „Für Dich“ (=for you) to the card. I die cut the sentiment from silver foil paper.
And I also created a second card which looks like this:
Here the background is also from the paper pack cover sheet. The blue stars were way too shame to throw away so I used them here as a background. I then added some smaller paper pieces, a stamped sentiment and some Glimmer Glaze droplets onto the card and outlined it with a black pen. Really simple and easy to do. So next time you organize your stash, take a second look on the papers that you have not used for ages, you might find them suitable for a card background, like I did here.
