Coffee themed ATC set – Coffee lovers blog hop

Hello there, everyone and welcome to the Spring Coffee Lovers blog hop. This hop is a sponsored by STAMPlorations (among many other amazing super sponsors).

There are some really great coffee themed products available at the STAMPloratios store and as an coffee addict, I could not pass this hop. Here is my project and a few details on how I created it:

This is a set of 3 Artist Trading Cards and I´ve used the “Bloomin´ Spring Coffee Basket” clear stamp set on this set of ATCs. My first stemp was to cut vanilla toned cardstock into ATC size (….) and add some patterned papers onto the background. I used 7gypsies Ordre Du Jour papers as I found they would match the blog hop theme very well. And they remind me of old cáfe wallpaper decor somehow :). After cutting the papers into righ size I took a piece of vellum and black waterproof ink and stamped the Coffee Basket onto the vellum. Once dry, the ink does not smear.

Next I fussy cut the stamped baskets and flipped them upside down and started coloring from the backside (just to make sure my alcohol markers would not smear the stamped image – this way nothing can happen!). I used browns, pink, blue and yellow Copic marker tones. After coloring the images I only had to adhere them onto their places with clear double sided adhesive and  add stamped, fussy cut sentiments on top. The words are from the same set. I just used them partially.

For decoration I added some sewing yarn and a button on each ATC. Also there is some glitter glue here and there for additional shine. Finally I wiped some black ink around the ATC edges. These are the finished ATCs and here is a close-up of one of them:
