Christmas Card Wednesday, No. 3

Annnd it´s again Wednesday which means I will be sharing some more Christmas cards with you today. This weeks cards are created with the Christmas dies from STAMPlorations.

For my first card I inked the card base with light green Distress Ink and then places the Molecules stencil on top and wiped darker green Distress Ink thru the stencil onto the background. Next I stamped the Christmas Flower with embossing ink onto a extra piece of white cardstock and applied black holographic embossing powder on top. After heat setting it I then colored the flower with red Distress Ink and a water tank brush. Then I die cut the sentiment from black cardstock and added a layer of glitter marker on top for additonal shine. Finally I adhered the flower in place, added the half pearls and the faux stitching with a black pen. For the second card I used the Merry Little Christmas cover plate with black cardstock, matted on top of gold glitter cardstock. I outlined the card left and right with a thin strip of blue paper for interest, then stamped the sentiment with embossing ink onto a separate piece of cardstock, applied holographic black embossing powder on top and heat set it with a heat gun. After that I inked the background of the sentiment blue and adhered everything on place.

Both of these cards are actually quite fast to create. Depending on the colors you are using, you can create different variations of the same card pattern, so you could easily make several at once. Still every single one would look different, if you used different colours.

Hope you enjoyed this weeks cards. Like I´ve noted previously, if you would like to case one of these cards, feel free to, just leave a comment here that you did so and I´ll drop by your blog to take a look what you did.

Oh, and if you´d like to shop any of the used STAMPlorations products at their store, you can get 20% off your order by adding my discount code: STAMPGIRLSANNA upon checkout.

Happy crafting,
xxx, Sanna
