Happy Friday!! My mom wished for cards without sentiments that she could use or universal purposes. I am used to creating cards with sentiments and making one without one feels strange.
This was one of the first tries. Simple in designs, because it has to suit many purposes. I am still struggling with this idea but will for sure make more in the future. Just because it´s challenging for me :).
I used Nuvo Crackle Mousse with Winter Flowers (one of my stencil designs at STAMPlorations) on the background. Then added a big fabric flower, a button and a golden ribbon in the middle. All mounted on a piece of light yellow (love this happy yellow tone!) cardstock.
What type of cards are the ones you struggle with? And do you make cards without particular sentiments/greetings? I´d love to see ideas on those, if you do, so leave a message here, so I can check your versions out :).
Hello and happy Thursday! It´s again „Studio Tekturek-day“ on my blog today. Have you been following their social media sites recently? If not, there are great news – their STORE IS NOW ONLINE. So if you have been waiting to be able to shop some Studio Tekturek goodness, go to: shop.studiotekturek.com!!
So if you, for example, like the Strawberry Shake collection that I´ve used on the above layout, you now can do so. Also, new customers get a discount of 15% for their first order!!! How cool is that!!?
The papers and stickers are all from the Strawberry Shake collection and I love the versatility of this collection so much. It´s so perfect for everyday scrapbooking! The other products I´ve used are either from my own (older) stash (Wycinanka chipboard and Technique Tuesday stamps) or from other manufacturers, like Bramblefox.
I´ve again recorded a start-to-finish video (partly spoken, partly fast-forward). I hope the video inspires you and gets you scrapping yourself!! I´ll be back with another scrapbook layout and video on the 29th of November. See you then again!
Wishing you a fabulous day and happy scrappy moments! xxx, Sanna
Hello lovelies! Happy Tuesday!! I am still enjoying creating with my new stencils so much. So I´ll just keep sharing cards done with them 🙂 – so hope bear with me on this :).
The zodiac set is one of my faves, because they can be used for that particular purpose, but also make great additions to mixed media projects and art journals.
I did a green background with Distress Inks first, then added water splatters and finished off with a black zodiac layer. The stamp sentiment is also by STAMPlorations and it´s one of my fave sets called „Party Time!“.
Even though it´s dull and grey outside, I still hope you have a nice day at your end!! Happy crafting, xxx, Sanna
Hello and happy Monday!! Today I´m just quickly stopping by to share a „stash busting“ card with you. This one is created using mainly old product from my stash.
I started with a spay inked layer of „Abstract April Showers“ stencil pattern on the background (using a Heidi Swapp spay ink – also from my older stash). Then I added a piece of misted book paper and a strip of Dina Wakley Washi Tape. This one is one of the new products used on this card. The flowers are stickers gifted to me by a friend (thanks, Lizzy) and the word stickers and chipboard are older stash.
I just layered everything on top of each other and that way the card came together. What are your plans for next week? Today was Austria´s indipendence day, so we had a day off. I needed that after hiking over 15km´s yesterday (well done me!). I hope to get some gardening done next week, let´s see how that goes. What are your plans for next week?
Hello and happy Saturday! I´m stopping by to share another card, created using one of my new stencils. This card is a combination of Dina Wakley sprays on the background and one of my stencils and Tim Holtz paper people.
I really like how this card looks like. I love the stencil pattern in combination with the sprays and the vintage people. I did a bunch of such backgrounds during lockdown in spring and now I´m slowly using them for various projects. For this card I also took such a background
I then added the stenciled pattern using brown Distress Oxide. For finishing touches I just added the vintage couple and the word together. Simple and easy, really, but I love the end result so much!
I wish you a lovely weekend! Fall is here and the numbers on the pandemic front are rising again, so therefore, I´m hoping you are all staying healthy and taking precautions.
