Hello, and happy Friday! Today I´m sharing another card with you. This one is again created using mainly Elizabeth Craft Designs products. I managed to make a pile of cards the other day and it felt really good. So I think I´m back :).
When I made the bold and colorful card (see my previous post!) and I used the Spring Fling stamp set, it inspired me to create a DIY stamped patterned paper (like on the card above). I love how the fragile flowers look like on the background.
I then just die cut the oval into the middle and added the die cut flower pieces and a stamped sentiment. A little bit of Silk Microfine Glitter on the flowers adds a nice sparkle and a few enamel dots finish the card off.
And it´s all in brown tones. I haven´t used brown in a while, so it was about time. Wishing you a fabulous weekend! xxx, Sanna
Hello and happy Wednesday! Today I´m stopping by to share another card I created the other day. I am slowly feeling my mojo again and I´m so happy about that. Maybe I just needed a break and a short holiday from everything?
For this card I used mainly Elizabeth Craft Designs products. And I really like how bold and colorful the stenciled background looks like.
I started with these above colours. Blending them onto a piece of white cardstock with an ink blending tool.
For the second layer I tried to pick slightly darker colours and applied them thru the Make Your Mark stencil.
The middle piece is die cut with the Fitted Ovals dies and I´ve inked it the same way like the blended background. I´ve then matted everything on dark cardstock and adhered onto a card base. For finishing touches I added the stamping and used various Elizabeth Craft Designs stamp for the purpose (see products on the supply list).
I´ll leave you with this happy and colorful card today. Come back for the weekend to see a few more card posts as well as my vacation story :).
Hello everyone and happy Monday! I have not been feeling my mojo lately, thus the absence/pause here on my blog. Also, I had been on holiday. No, we didn´t travel far, but stayed in the country and tried to plan our few days stay-away-from-home-but-stay-safe type of vacation as safe as we could. I´ll be sharing a photo-heavy post about that some time this week. Be sure to come and read it, it´s something very special, at least if you ask me :).
But now to today´s project share:
It´s a mixed media style card set of two cards. I created the banner pieces following one of Tim Holtz´s tutorials/lives on Facebook a while back. And ever since I have been looking for a perfect spot for these banners. Finally I realised they´d make for great cards!
For both cards I applied texture paste thru a stencil (my own line at STAMPlorations) and then colored the paste parts with Distress Crayons. After that I added some stamping with Elizabeth Craft Designs stamps.
I will be sharing more card projects on my blog throughout this week (plus our special travel story), so do stop by later this week to see what I´ve been upto.
Hello everybody and happy Saturday! Today I´m stopping by to share happy news. I´ve got another set of stencils available over at the STAMPlorations store.
Due to the Covid-19 situation shipping between the US and Austria has been very slow to non-existent, so I actually haven´t been able to hold the new stencils in my hands yet, but they are all available at www.stamplorations.com already. Just go to the store, then choose „stencils and masks“ and then „Sanna Lippert Designs“ and the section that says „new“. You will find them all there.
Here are a few photos of the designs as a teaser:
I´ve got a few square stencils and some in the standard size, like the previous ones. Also there are a few abstract patterns this time as well as some winter/Christmas themed ones too. And also a set of zodiac stencils.
I cannot wait to get my hands on these and to play with them. As soon as the postal services work „normal“ again, there will be a video featuring all designs, so you get a better idea. Meanwhile, some of the US girls in the design team have already been able to play with some of the stencil designs, so do keep an eye on the STAMPlorations blog for more!!
I´m again very excited about this line and cannot wait to see how everybody uses the stencils!!!
Hello and happy Sunday!!! Now this is just random play, but I love the colours. A little something to bring me joy while I´m still missing my mojo. I just added stuff until I felt like there was nothing more to add – also obviously because the page was already so full (LOL).
I first painted the background in two colours – apricot and blue and then went from there. I added some writing with Posca pens onto the background. Just random things I felt like writing down.
Next I took the Carabelle circle stencil out and added some DWM gloss sprays thru it onto the background. Next I added random splots of spray onto the upper part and let them from droppings to the page. While that was drying I sprayed some residue chipboard with the gloss sprays and also pressed some gloss spray to the „tag“ and then stamped the words onto the tag.
For finishing touches I added the sprayed chipboard and some fussy cut circles from another AJ page shared here previously. Then I did some details with Posca pens and added some Thickers for additional detail. That´s it!
Making this crazy mess felt much better already. So I´m hoping my mojo will soon return from whereever it went :).
Have a great Sunday and a good start into the new week! xxx, Sanna
