Kids crafts Easter decor

Hi there, I´m quickly stopping by today to share a fun and easy to make Easter decor with you that you can easily create with your kids. First off is a birdie, attached to a barbeque bamboo stick:

These are so easy to make. Just draw a birdie onto a patterned paper with a pencil, then fussy cut it and adhere to a bamboo barbeque stick. Take the Flower Power stamps by Elizabeth Craft Designs and stamp some smaller flowers with a waterproof black ink onto white cardstock. Then take the Nuvo Brilliantly Vibrant watercolour pencils and a waterbrush pen and color the stamped images with the pencils. Now fussy cut and adhere to the birdie. Add a sequin as an eye and decorate the flowers with Nuvo Glitter and Crystal drops. Here is a close-up. These a fun to make with kids and keep them busy, while they are waiting for the Easter bunny to arrive :).
Second option is a bunny, attached to a bamboo stick. The steps are the same as with the birdie. After finishing, stick them as decoration to flower pots in the house.
That´s it from me for today. Happy crafting,

Happy Easter – Tonic Studios

Happy Easter Sunday everyone! Yesterday evening I was still creating this little Easter present – nothing like last minute pressure, eh? Well, I finished it in time, so all is good. What would you give a friend for Easter, who is trying to avoid sugar? A chocolate egg will not be appreciated by such a person, so I thought I´d just decorate a chocolate egg packaging and fill it with something else than chocolate eggs. Hope she likes it!
Here is what I did: First take a Indian Gold Nuvo Embellishment Mousse and apply it thru a stencil (this one happens to be one of my designs) with a palette knife/credit card onto the lid of a chocolage egg packaging.
Next add Nuvo Crushed Grape Crystal Drops and Sherbet Shimmer Drops randomly onto the cover.
While those layers on the lid are drying, take a piece of chipboard and Nuvo Glitter Pens (Northern Lights and Morning Moss) and color the chipboard with the pens. Then add some Nuvo Drops onto the „berry“ parts of the chipboard.
Next arrange the chipboard pieces onto the lid, then add a butterfly and some paper roses for additional decoration. Adhere everything with a strong paper glue.
Finally, add a stamped sentiment banner on top of the roses and decorate the rose petals with a pink Nuvo Gitter Marker. This is what the finished piece looks like:

I simply replaced the chocolate eggs with egg candles 🙂 – no sugar added 🙂

The chocolates in the photo are just for decoration – I might have eaten them myself, since my friend will not appreciate receiving them ;-).

Hope you have a lovely day with your loved ones,
Happy crafting,
Sanna
