Hello there lovelies! Today I´d like to share with you a few of my favorite stencil techniques. As you may already know, stencils are one of my go-to products. They are so easy to use in various ways and you can create so many different effects with them. I love my stencils :)!
Therefore, my technique post today over at the Paperilla blog is all about stencils. I even created a video. This time it is all in Finnish, just follow this link for the video :).
In the end I ended up creating quite a pile of cards and a layout. Here they are (bare with me, it´s getting photo heavy now…):
(Embossing powder, spray ink, resist)
(Spray ink, Pan Pastels, stamping, Distress Glitter, embossing paste)
(Pastes, watercolor, Distress Ink, “Letterpress”, spray ink)
(Distress Ink, watercolor, DIY glitter paste)
(Gesso, Distress Ink, embossing powder, spray ink)
(stamping, embossing paste, spray ink)
(Acrylic paint, cut outs)
…annnnd a layout (texture paste):
OK, I know, it is quite a few. But I just love using stencils. And this is not even all you can do with them :). All the stencils I´ve used on the video are by The Crafter´s Workshop – if I got you curious, here is a link to take a better look at their huge selection :)!
And now hop over to see the whole post over at the Paperilla blog, because the team there has been creating some extra projects to go with my video (it´s all in Finnish this time, sorry!) :). Enjoy!!
Hope this post gets you inspired to try out some stenciling techniques!
Happy crafting,
xxx, Sanna
